Dont know if the Blues would be interested in him though as he has been working on his fitness and engine this year. Its getting better but not there yet. Hopefully starts in the 1s this week.

I'd imagine a second rounder would end up being the case. He's worth a first rounder, but considering he hasn't played AFL yet it wouldn't happen.

Given the Swans gave a 2nd and 4th round pick when getting Tommy Walsh from St.Kilda who had never played a game before I would expect a 2nd round at least.

Quality forwards, medium or tall are very hard to come by.

The Swans are gonna finish pretty high up meaning they'd have pretty late picks in each round.

If they did finish first, they'd get 18 (not counting any compo picks, no priority ones I don't think?).

Carlton are unlikely to make the 8 and should finish top half of the bottom 10, so their first rounder would probably be of too high a value to cough up considering Membrey's situation. Touted as a first rounder, slid to 40 I think it was and despite good form hasn't played a game.

So yeah, Blues would have to give a second rounder I reckon.

They'll surely make a play for Patton or Jaksch from GWS though.

Yeh I was just looking at some of the trades last year and comparing. Like Crameri went to the Bullies for a second-round pick. Thats why I'm thinking Membrey is worth a 3rd rounder
