I think if Rooster or Bjack come in then either will be the sub. If no changes then probably Lloyd get s the vest.

One interesting thing is that Rampe was the only one injured from last week and no back has come in to the team. Even if Macca or Esky go back then there are still no mids to take their spot. Although if Rohan or BJack come in then they will play as a forward and move one of the engine room mids back to the mids from the fwds
I saw you mentioned a while ago that Rohan has been playing off HB in the twos? Maybe if Rampe doesn't get up he could get a run down there??
That would be great to have both Jetta and Rohan running on the wing from HB. No mention on where he played on the weekend though
Why not have a watch? ;)

LRT was a late out and Towers and one other was also injured on the weekend

QuoteWhat we got from the opening bounce was a team committed to each other. We worked hard in numbers to defend the opposition and when we managed to turn the ball over, we worked hard to work the ball forward quickly to give our forwards the best opportunity to score goals. At half-time we had a lead but we certainly needed it given that we had a late withdrawal the morning of the match which meant that we only started with 21 players. By half-time the number of fit players had dropped to 19, leaving only one player on the bench. We had to rotate our players on the field rather than through the bench meaning everyone really had to share the load. The boys had to lift the level of communication so that they knew not only what they were doing, but also what the players around them were doing.

Andrew Dunkley's teenage son Josh hopes to join Swans

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/andrew-dunkleys-teenage-son-josh-hopes-to-join-swans-20140522-zrkyt.html

QuoteJosh Dunkley would love to play for Sydney, if he does enough in the next 18 months to convince the club to take him on.

Dunkley is eligible to join the Swans as a father-son selection at the end of 2015, but it was reported last year that his father's strained relationship with the club in recent years might affect his future.

Andrew Dunkley played 217 games in defence for Sydney - and in the 1996 grand final - before moving to Gippsland to start coaching after he retired in 2002.

Josh has already played two seasons of senior football in Sale, debuting as a 15-year-old, and captained the AIS-AFL Academy's level one squad on its trip to New Zealand in January.

Advertisement He is one of a handful of talented players Sydney has first call on this year and next, starting with midfielder Isaac Heeney, who will demand the club's first round pick this year under the bidding system.

Heeney is part of the Swans Academy, as is Abe Davis, who the club may also nominate this year. Onballer Callum Mills, a 2015 prospect like Dunkley, was the best division two player at last year's under-16 championships.

Dunkley said he had no intention of telling the Swans he didn't want to go there, and he would be grateful to play for them or any other AFL team if he got the chance
Dint know that there was a strained relationship between Dunkley and the Bloods

I Rember the talks about the strain effecting his son last year. Cant remember why atm.

Mailman the 2nd

I'm sure he'd be fine with his son going into father-son though usually dads aren't too oppressive and I'm sure the Swans would be happy to get back on good terms with Dunkley.

Its interesting because I've played with some of those younger boys before wouldn't of known they'd get that close

how does it work with the whole father/son and noms for the academy boys when there are more than 1?
Normally if you have just one then you have to match the round someone else nominates, but if you are going to pick 2/3 does that mean if you have already committed your rnd 1 to someone your rnd 2 is good enough for the next guy even if a team nominates a rnd 1 pick?

Lloyd Peris was in the Academy and they got him with the last pick in the rookie draft i think they can do that with anybody in the academy

Capper

I think if we take Dunkley with 2nd pick some one can take him with their first pick.

Isaac Heeney goes at our first pick though atm

Bidding system
In 2007 the AFL made a major amendment for the father-son rule, establishing a bidding system to determine which draft pick a club must give up to secure the potential recruit. The current system works as follows:[4][5][6]

1. Individual clubs are free to nominate potential father-son recruits within the eligibility guidelines below.
2. A meeting is held on the Monday before the start of trade week where clubs can bid for the nominated players. Each club has the option to bid, in reverse ladder order, for the nominated players.
3. If a bid is made, the club that nominated the father-son player must use its next available selection if it wishes to retain its hold on that player. If a club nominating the father-son player declines to match the selection nominated, the club with the successful bid must use that selection at the Draft to select the player.
4. Any club that makes a successful bid on a father-son selection must commit to pick the player they nominate.
5. If no bid is made by another club, the club that nominated the father-son eligible player will forfeit its last selection in the draft to select the player.

So I read that (point 3) to mean as long as we use our next avail, we could get dunkley or heeney with 2nd round pick?

Mailman the 2nd

facebook page just confirmed that there will be no changes to the final line-up so Pyke, Rohan and Jack unlucky
