Defender downgrades

I have one of these set up for all positions, including premo upgrades. Obviously all these figures are approximates not exacts figures. Updated after round 5 matches. Langford was done using expected.

From what can be seen most players still have about 50k still to make.

Happy to add more players or specific information if people want them.

Luke Mcdonald
Max price approx 350-370k , Current 300k, Bye round 8 (340k Approx)
Still to make 50k, 40k by Bye, 10K after. Optimal Downgrade Week 8

Kade Kolodjashnij
Max price 310-330k, Current 260k, Bye Round 8 (290k Approx)
Still to make 50k, 30k by Bye, 20K after Optimal Downgrade Week 10

Tom Langdon
Max price approx. 290-310k, Current 245k, Bye round 8 (270k Approx)
Still to make 45k, 25k by Bye, 20K after Optimal Downgrade Week 10

Alexis Georgiou
Max price 270k, Current 195k, Bye Round 10 ( 240k Approx)
Still to make 75k, 45k by Bye, 30K after. Optimal Downgrade Week 13

Will Langford
Max Price 270k, Current 220k, Bye Round 9 (260k Approx)
Still to make 50k, 40k by Bye, 10K after. Optimal Downgrade Week 9

I'd start upgrading/downgrading round 8 bye defenders such as Langdon and McDonald.

I plan to downgrade Tyson and Ellis to Lloyd and Robertson this week but next week will be looking at downgrading Langdon to Cuttler and upgrading McDonald to Simpson/Hibberd.

Or I might upgrade both Langdon and McDonald to Simpson and Hibberd if funds permit.

For what its worth I see Mcdonald being a midfield keeper or pre finals trade out. Using him to open up my swing set post byes...

You may as just aswell get Hunt from Melbourne in if you want to do that close to finals.

McDonald will be too much cash sitting on your bench by then.

I am in no rush to get rid of LMac, Langford and Georgiou, because they all have great JS. Langford and Georgiou can sit on my bench, being slow burners, and if they get to a stage where they start to slowly leak money then so be it. As for LMac, due to being no downgrade options he can be my D6 for as long as necessary

Langdon is the one who needs to go for mine, and he needs to be upgraded to a premo. That will give me 5 premo defenders, LMac and D6 at Langford/Georgiou on bench, and that's a line I would be happy to go with for quite a while, and then I can focus on completing my mids
