How does this happen?!

Okay, so neither player are relevant to me at all, BUT I couldn't help but notice the difference in scores between these two players from GWS v Crows match today
Sc Ki Hb Mk Tk FF/FA
Callan Ward 92 5 7 4 1 2/1

Tomas Bugg 31 7 6 4 1 1/2

So I know that DE% plays a part, but surely not to this extremity?!

Yeh Bugg at 69% DE and 2 Clangers along with 13 Uncontested Possies and only 2 Contested.
Ward at 100% DE with 1 Clangers, 9 contested possies and 2 contested marks

Ward came off with concussion around 70 odd SC but got scaled up.He must of been one of the best on ground before he went down / very influential early on as well.Bit like Pendles vs GC when he got subbed at HT 2 years ago. Got scaled up 15 or so I think..

Ward was subbed off, so he got all of his points when the game was still alive. Would've got scaled up a bit.

Why do people get annoyed at the scaling in supercoach???

CD have specific reasons they do or don't give points!!!

Ward took several contested marks (over 5 points each), got quite a few hard ball gets then kicks out the middle (3 points each) and did all this when the game was won.

This might be some help to people. These, i think, are the points given for certain things basing them on looking at field view on live HQ.

Hardball get   4.5 Points
Loose-ball get   4.5 Points
Goal   8 Points
Behind   1 Point
Mark uncontested (maintaining possession)   2 Points
Mark contested (maintaining possession)   6 Points
Mark uncontested (from opposition)   4 Points
Mark contested (from opposition)   8 Points
Tackles   4 Points
Free kick for   4 Points

Hitout to Advantage   3 Points

what is a 1%

Junior coaches are all about the "one percenters". Basically shepherds, smothers, etc. Small things that people don't really notice, but impact the gameplay.
