i think it is,

i was wondering why my players were getting +4 for a mark and kick even though the sc website said it should be 6-7ish

No the supercoach website is correct, there are other factors that alter the points from those base rates. The Supercoach website states that they cannot give the full details because of the complexity.

They don't award points the way they say they do on the website. It says +4 for effective kick but in reality it depends if it's a clearance, inside 50, rebound 50, distance travelled and so on. There are more than 50 variables but on the SC site there is like 15 listed. A tackle inside defensive 50 is worth more than one on the wing etc

When Ward went off he was the highest scoring Giant by miles. He was about 70odd and the next player I think was Coniglio in the 40's, so he was clearly the best player for them, and the first half of the game was when it was closer so naturally his points are weighted in his advantage, coupled with his perfect DE, contested possessions etc

Bugg might have got most of his touches in the 2nd half when the game was dead and buried, getting him lower points

Yes and No.

In a normal match, yes it is wrong.

However, it seems that the scores on the sc website are basically when the scores are being slightly scaled up.

I'm not sure why they've  done that, but the scores I posted are the usual ones when there is no scaling.
