might Cull thomas after this round, Ellis/Polec/Dunstan still have another $50K to make.

I really wish there wasn't so many options next week because I am going to have to miss out on a few, and all seem to be handy as downgrade options, I just really hope more rookies pop up over the next few weeks because we need options to downgrade

Cutler
Robertson
Lloyd
Gray

These seem to be 4 on the bubble next week. Impey to Lloyd is locked for me. I guess my second trade will be whichever rookie I currently have who has the highest BE (Prob Langdon/Langford or Tyson) to one of Cutler/Robertson/Gray

Would really love for one of these 4 to get dropped next week, then return the following week :)

Langdon to Cutler might just solve my bye dilemma, I'm really warming to the Brissie boys because it would appear that Leppa will attempt to give them as many games as possible. They will also sneak in another 4 price rises, so in theory could be culled prior to their bye.

Gray also looks the goods but JS is a massive concern, with Monfires to come straight back in one wonders how long he'll last or whether he'll be vest material. Bringing him in will also have to be a like-for-like bye swap, so is he a safer option to either Ellis or Polec, remembering of course that these guys will need to produce points in round 8 & potentially round 10.

If only a few of these boys were on the bubble the following week!

An early cull of Langdon > Cutler could be on the cards, then potentially Tyson > Griffen?

Cutler might be the only defender downgrade that comes through for a while.

I think everyone will need to bring in 2 rookies next week so the Griffen trade can be put on hold for a week, he still has a massive BE so you won't lose any cash.

Just remember Cutler had first game as sub and only scored 19 so price rise will be minimal so maybe you can afford to wit a week.  Langdon to Cutler may be a favoured trade for the future.  My only concern with Cutler and putting it out there does he give way when Hanley returns,  Looking at Brisbane side seems to rest between Cutler or Golby to make way for Hanley. Gardiner will make way for Merrett.

Interesting, Golby hasn't been setting the world alight so maybe he goes. But you're right, if Gray throws in another ton then maybe Cutler comes the week after.

As for Robbo, he looks a lock to me, can't see him being forced out any time soon.

Arghhhhhh about 5 guys I want to bring in and only have two trades I guess I will see who has the biggest break even So will Cutler and Gardiner get cut before making any serious money?

Ringo

I am wary of both Anthonny definitely would not consider Gardiner but Cutler may give some cash.  Would not hurts to wait as I said for 2 weeks and hopefully see what happens with Hanley Back.

So don't get either next week?

The calls to hold on Cutler are well founded, his sub score is something of a saving grace all things considered. Emphasis should be on Gray, Cripps, Robbo & Lloyd.

RaisyDaisy

Personally, Lloyd and Robertson are the two in front at the moment

Even if Gray put in another good showing his JS is always going to be an issue in such a competitive Port team

At this stage, I am thinking something along the lines of Impey to Lloyd and Ellis to Robertson next week, Langdon to Cutler the next week, and either Dunstan to Cripps or upgraded to Griffen etc.

Will be an interesting week or two coming up!

yeah Lloyd and Robertson are the two in front I reckon with Cripps being expensive and Gray having a shakey js they look like the obvious inclusions
