Rory Sloane is a POD I'm considering but I'll most likely wait on him. Can't slit the two tbh, I'm leaning towards Rocky because the byes

current midfield is:
Gaj, Rocky/Stevie J, Beams, Watson, Cotchin, Tyson, Polec, Ellis, Cunningham & Buckley

Actually Stevie J is better for byes. The other issue is Rocky is expected to break the $600k barrier so this is a cheap price tag for him. Stevie J is already expensive and might be better off to get at a cheaper value.

However, Stevie J averages against the next few sides are amazing
Hawks: 121.3
Port: 117.7
Tigers: 127

Personally, I think SJ is more likely to get suspended. Rocky is also cheaper and scores well no matter how bad Brisbane play.

And to think I got shower rained down on me for choosing Pendles over Rocky a few weeks back when Pendles started having his suspect ankle... oh how the times change. ::)

Yeah I've chosen to go with Rocky. I'm playing 1st in the league (I'm second) and the loophole VC with Rocky could provide the edge to win this game :)

hahaha can't complain about anything over 100 :)

116 is great, he got what I expected (+100) and I'm now very confident that he can continually repeat that based off his last 4 scores (96 is still a great score for a premium considering he was tagging). Stevie J is great but I don't see him as a foundational premium in the midfield (rather a 3rd or 4th upgrade), one turn off in particular for me is that he can't avoid those 60's a few times a season

Definitely will find a way to sneak him in because he'll go 115+ for the season, but for now I'm taking the risk v. reward punt on Rocky
