Jalapeno

I think he will yeah. Hes a gun and he goes and gets his own ball. Thats what I think seperates the pretenders and the guns

What about Heppell?

I picked Watson in the poll, but think Heppell has huge potential, will never get tagged and is loving this possession footy the Dons are playing.

How's that never getting tagged working out? Was considering him until this week. I'm not sure Essendon mids are going to be that great.

For me the top 7 mids will be

Johnson
Pendlebury
Swan
Beams
Ablett
Selwood
Rockliff

From there I think the 8th could be anyone of a few, Ebert, Kornes, Montagna, Watson, Fyfe

Pretty sure Heppell was tagged by the Saints and they kept him very quite

His post was before the game against the Saints and at that stage he had never been tagged ;)

It depends... on Average or on Total?

Barlow would be a contender on average, but not on total score.

Mr.Craig

Just revisiting this. Top 8 as they currently stand (by average)

Rockliff
Ablett
Johnson
Kennedy
Pendlebury
Priddis
Beams
Barlow

#25
interesting how the current 4th (JPK) and 6th (Priddis) place aren't even on the poll
shows how much of a leap they've taken this season

also find it shocking how the likes of SJ and Beams are both on that list, despite horror form (SJ averaged 85 between rd7 and 15 - Beams with a 94 average since rd12)

Mr.Craig

Top 8 for total scores -

Kennedy
Pendlebury
Priddis
Macrae
Rockliff
Heppell
Ablett
Stanton

Can't believe he's a premium in his 2nd year... Definitely caught me by surprise, definite starter next season for me, I think we'll doubt him because his price tag but if this kid can run Boyd & Griff out of business (& leave Libby behind) he is capable of great things a lot earlier than expected.

Going to try bring Priddis in for Crisp as soon as he accumulates enough capital (leaves Miles & Cotchin battling for M8)

Top 8 to finish out the season (excluding injured players), or with what I think is the best 8 to have right now.

1. Rockliff
2. Stevie J
3. JPK
4. Pendlebury
5. Sidebottom
6. Barlow
7. Mcrae
8. Jelwood

Just missing out Priddis, Greenwood and Beams.

bold call with Priddis, especially with some nice friendly games against Dees and GC to finish the season (okay, he might not do that well this week)
