Trading Caddy to Fasalo? No brainer or a waste of trade?

AaronKirk

No brainer that Caddy has to go. If you cannot get a decent premo for Caddy than Fasolo is an excellent option. No change to bye-structure and extra $ in the kitty

Yep, one of the easier decisions of the season.

Well is Fas a keeper... Probably not. So if you out Caddy for him you're going to have to trade him out again.

If you can afford it I'd be looking at players who would make a good F7 later in the reason once your fwd is stacked. There should be a few around the $350k mark.

You've just highlighted why Fasolo is a great option, why pay 350k when you can get a reliable F7 for 212k?

Agreed but I'd question Fasolo's reliability as an F7. Personally I'd like to go for someone without any sub potential. So $350K might be a bit too much but Patton @ $263k could be an option?

There is not much to gain from having Patton as F7, his odd high score will be negated by the 3 junk ones in between.

Can't see him being a sub candidate to be honest, if he was playing in the forward line I'd be concerned but he's not, he's now in Heath Shaw's position, and it appears a deliberate move given he was trialled in that position in Collingwood reserves.
