Is no body else considering McEvoy? :-\
I don't trust Sauce at all
I'm considering McEvoy. Problem is that he plays Monday so we won't know until all other games have been played as to whether he will play for sure, which is a worry given Hawthorn's history of late withdrawals.
Go Nic Nat, hes in great form.
NicNat's the one I'm getting rid of :P >:(
Ive got Nic Nat as well, if hes playing im keeping him, he is every chance to turn it around. Ive said in other threads that if he was that badly injured or playing injured Eagles wouldnt risk him at this stage of the season. I sticking with the big pineapple head.

Chance he wont play, a Calf for a ruckman is fairly significant.

i'll wait 1 more week and see what happens  got problems other places atm

I'm the same as you David...... remember the afl.com.au analysis is just doc Larkins' opinion. The club has said 1-2 so i'm happy to ride it out 1 week and see what happens after that.

I also don't trust Jacobs and really want Mummy in my team..... very unsure who is the best replacement. If currie gets more gametime that may impact goldy. Is Jacobs solid? Could Warnock be a good option with Kruezer out? For mine, there's question marks on many of the alternatives

It's not actually Doc Larkins opinions, he just makes an added opinion to the list. Injury lists are updated by clubs themselves. Fantasy Freako is reporting on twitter that the Giants have updated Mumford to 3-4 weeks.

The site notes say : The Doc says: Hunt is in doubt with scans to determine the severity of his knee injury. Mumford had a knee arthroscopy to alleviate chronic soreness and swelling, which isn't a good sign. The club says he will miss 1-2 weeks but he will likely need 3-4 to be back to proper mobility. - 16/4

So it's still his opinion and it could be 1-2.... yes I'm clutching at straws hoping Mummy will come up because I really don't want to trade him out :)

This injury is going to have an impact on his short term scoring potential when he comes back. Doing my head in this issue.
I Just wish there was a decent MPP FWD/RUCK  :'(

As mentioned earlier by BGK Freako has said that GWS have updated the injury list to say 3-4, that's separate to what Doc has said

I am going to keep him on the pine, play Derickx short term, if Derickx does get dropped I am seriously going to consider bringing in Billy Longer for Derickx, priced @ $279K he could be a good cash cow as well as a decent scorer short term. Thoughts?

You'll be going backwards at a rate of knots, 3-4 weeks without a premo ruck will kill your season. Longer may not even play this week.

I think if you have mummy then keep him because at the moment you want to be bringing in the likes of fasolo and crouch so if you have a dericx then you will be losing around 50 points a week but then also will have mumford to come back in just before the byes probably as they have long breaks between games and get the reward for holding him no point going to a Jacobs/Cox/Minson/Golsdtein as every ruckmen will have problems and you may just be trading from a problem to a problem

Bad advice, Derickx is a big spud and it's only a matter of time before he's replaced by Nankervis. I've watched him over 3 seasons at Richmond and can definitively state he's nowhere near AFL quality. As for suggesting the other rucks will have problems, that couldn't be further from the truth, they rarely miss matches. Stitch up the rucks now and avoid more pointless trades down the track. I've selected Cox primarily because he hasn't missed a game in 3 years, he's also trading at a 50k discount to his original price.

So unlucky for those who brought him in last week

true. but another one of those lessons about not chasing last weeks points. Mummy has always had injury issues and IMO was never a keeper. Would have thought he was safe to get to the byes and make good coin though. I am happy I resisted the urge and brought cox in last week. Now i just have to hope Sandi keeps it up!!
True. I traded Leuey to Hampson last week so I could have a better look at the top ruckmen. SO GLAD I DID  :D

kilbluff1985

is he expected to only miss one more game from here or is it two?

thinking i might hold him if only a week

If only you'd read through the thread. GWS have said he will be gone for 3-4 weeks
