Do I need Matt Crouch?

Hey guys,

Wondering if I need to get Crouch before the price rises. Want to get Fasolo in for Caddy, and planning on holding Mummy, especially if Currie gets a game.

My cows aren't quite mooing, but early upgrades could be handy for overall


Mitchell, Simpson, Swallow, Malceski, Jaensch, McD (Langford, Georgiou)

GAJ, Pendles, Watson, Beams, Tyson, Dunstan, Polec, Ellis (Langdon, Buckley)

Mummy, Sandi (Currie, King)

Any other suggestions? Ranked 232, and in a cash league, so a finger in both pies really...

I think if you can afford it you would be better off to upgrade Caddy to a premo. As it stands you would likely need to make 8 upgrades.

You could go Langford/Georgiou to Crouch (via DPP link)

Then if you have the $$ to go Caddy to a premo it would set you up better long term.

You could then go Rohan to Lloyd next week to get more cash in the kitty before making your midfield upgrades around about the byes.

Only $46,700 in the kitty unfortunately... Langford to Crouch would net $76,800, so $123,500.

Best forward I could afford would probably be Dahlhaus, so not another keeper. Reckon Fasolo would probably score on par with Dahl.

If I go Langdon I could get Pav, Gray or Gunston, but not sure on either of those guys...

Questioning the worth of each non-keeper, an option may be to trade Tyson.
- he started at a higher base price, so it's harder to gain money
- the 50 from last week still has 2 more weeks in his rolling average, so he won't earn that much in the short term
- he'll make you $200K plus now
- for mine the reason take a high priced rookie is to kill them quicker
- it'll give you a POD not having him to compete in the overall.
- I don't think you'll lose too many points fielding Crouch instead, you'll gain more from the premo

You can then look at a better forward that is undervalued. Parker, Roughy, even the Hoff has appeal.

Just an option, you're ranked 232 for a reason though so you should make a reasonable decision! Good luck.
