For those thinking of bringing in NRoo this week I wouldn't.

He's near his peak in price and will only drop in price from here on I reckon.

I'm planning to upgrade Higgins to him in a few weeks time where Higgins would have gone up alot more and NRoo has dropped down a bit in price.

Current forward line at the moment -

Dangerfield, Martin, Roughead, Wingard, Zorko, Higgins (Taylor, Ambrose)

Did you bring Rough back in JM?!?!?!

Sure did mate.

Decided to give Roughead another go due to lack of decent premo forwards going around.

Also got rage trade for the year out of my system. LOL!

Ended up upgrading Caddy to Roughead.  ;D

How many trades you got left?

Not enough. LOL!

Doesn't bother me though.

I'll just keep trading till my team is in tip top shape.

I've done it in the past and its worked well so no dramas.

I will know when to stop trading though, wasn't born in the last shower.  ;D

The way I see it after I get Hibberd and Simpson in my backs, forwards and rucks should all be in good shape then with minimal upgrades required.  8)

Then at bye time all I have to do is concentrate upgrading my midfield by getting Pendles, Selwood, Rockcliff, etc in.

Sounds like a plan, the only hitch will be coming up with the funds to bring in two 700k players, easier said than done. I'll be grabbing Selwood last I think, in the meantime I'll be targeting guys like Cotchin, Griffen & Swan.

Will depend on new mid rookies coming in during bye rounds too so I can downgrade Dunstan > rookie and then upgrade Polec to Pendles/Selwood.

Can do the same thing with downgrading Kelly to a rookie and upgrading S.Gray or M.Crouch to another mid premo.  8)

By my reckoning you'll need to make between 600 & 700k to get those deals over the line. Don't know how you will manage to do that in 4 weeks if you are attending to the back line first.

Instead consider getting either Pendles or Selwood, and concentrating on the bargain basement bin. Cotch, Swan & Griffen will probably be priced under 530k by round 9 which shouldn't be a huge leap from Polec & Tyson. I think those trades could be done for a mere 150k each, and could even be seen as a stepping stone to a super premo down the track.

I'll be getting Hibberd and Simpson in at round 6 so that still gives me 3 weeks before I think about bringing in Pendles/Selwood.

Don't see any point bringing in Cotchin until I see signs of improvement, same with Griffen.

My mids at the moment are -

Ablett, Watson, Libba, Beams, Polec, Tyson, Dunstan, Ellis (Kelly, Crouch)

4 spots left for premo mids and I reckon 3 of them will go to Pendles, Selwood and Rockcliff.

Have no idea about the 8th spot though.

i'm hanging onto him for now. only had two bad games, plus i'd bet everyone has more pressing issues than him.

wow, that was pretty bad man. iirc he was averaging ~95-98 after two games. how on earth could you not find a more suitable trade? obv it's worked out in at least some capacity, but still.
