You dont have to be Einstein to realize that Matthew Kreuzer's best position for Carlton, DT and Kreuzer's own personal being is first ruck. Unfortunately Ratten aint no Einstein. It has taken him until this last game to come to the brilliant realization that after such a dominant display we (Carlton) (said in a dopey voice) "Aw we may have to play him in ruck and not forward now"! No shower sherlock....now, not before time, I can reinstate him into my team.

Goodes won a Brownlow as a ruck, he would never do that again. You don't want your best players in that position if you can help it.

What a load of crap. Kreuzer is the new generations Dean Cox. Would you play Cox anywhere but ruck? Would you play Shaun Rehn anywhere but ruck where he was the heart and soul of Adelaides premiership years?
Kreuzer is a natural ruckman where he can dominate games and help Carlton win.

Obviously Carlton don't think so. If they thought that, they wouldn't be paying Warnock a ridiculous salary.

Carlton (and many other teams over the years) have made mistakes at recruiting. Warnocks role now (despite what they may be paying him) is a bit part off the bench. Ratten strikes me as a poor coach who makes odd decisions and drops players like flies after one poor game. His idea to convert Kreuzer into a permanent CHF this season was a potential disaster for him. It was another knee-jerk reaction to losing Fevola and not having a replacement for him. Carlton chances this season I would suggest has been given a boost after Kreuzers performance yesterday.
