It has been reported that he will miss 2 weeks. If he is out for 2 then i'm leaning towards holding. Just hope the club is telling the truth..... So many times ive been burnt holding for 1-2 week injuries and the player ends up being out longer!

What are your thoughts?
Will you be trading or holding?

Ricochet

I would be holding him. 3+ weeks is generally my guide for offloading premos

Rusty00

I've got him and I'm holding him as I've already made 2 premium sideways trades (1 through injury, 1 through showerness).

Hoping he's back in 2 weeks ;)

Toga

Holding him, Griffiths can cover him for the week.

Alka

Yeah, 2 is a hold. It's one of those tricky situations, where 3 would probably be a trade. It's a hammy, so it's hard to tell, he could even be back next week (unlikely, but fingers crossed!).

I'm holding firm, no use burning a trade so early.

Hanley is now listed as 3-4 weeks....
Looks like i'm forced to trade especially since i'm already fielding 2 rookies in Griffiths and McDonald.

Well that's my trading done for the week. Burger and hanley

j959

i'm still holding firm - the def rookies haven't been awful and I just can't bring myself to 'burn' anymore trades for stuff that's less than 4wks ... in any event, have other issues to fix ...   :P    ;)

For information Hanley was interviewed on the ground last night and is confident of returning in 2 weeks time.

Lions injury report (posted Apr 22nd)
"both Green and Hanley are both back this week, got through training fine this past week, and what hurt them was the Thursday night game - short turnaround probably cost them... both back in and face StKilda this week (rd 6)"

Alka

Urgh. Ended up trading him as they changed it to 3 weeks. Clearly they didn't expect it to be longer than 2 so why the change. Annoyed!

CBeams: tracking along nicely, and is about 2 weeks away from making his return
Leuey: surgery went well, back into the club to kick off rehab
looks like CBeams might be a good post-bye downgrade target

as for above, why trade him?
he's recovered quickly in the past,
the rd4 post-report says that they took the precautionary route at HT in order to keep it to 1-2 weeks, rather than a 4-6+ weeks
and the rookie defs are scoring pretty well (Griffiths, LMac, Langdon - not sure which you've been playing)
