Interesting about the Mumford trades. Didn't think the injury was that long term

Yeh thats true. Only a few of us ran with 3 midpricers. About the only thing that is going right for me atm

Hagebear

Interesting to see soo many people jumping on Missy Higgins??!! Luckily had Jaensch from the start and have decided to hold Hanley so don't mind everyone jumping off him.

Yeah... I started with him and happy so far but Jumping on now is interesting. I guess still relatively cheap and negative BE...

Ramus

Plenty jumping on Lloyd, is it a couple of weeks too early? What if he gets injured before going up in price?

Ricochet

exactly mate I find that pointless as well

I think it's more the act of getting rid of Rohan/Caddy. They're going to drop in price so I think people are freaking out over the "lost" value and not thinking the longer term. Also the fact he got 135 is probably getting people too excited. I'll be sorely tempted if Rohan gets another vest, but otherwise will wait til the bubble to pull that trigger.

Yeh but what happens when something like Lloyd scores ok again this week and Rohan cops the vest
But next week King comes back in and takes Lloyd's spot, while Rohan continues to play through the byes

Not that I see that happening, its just why I always wait for a rookie to be on the bubble. JS though the byes is so important

Any player at any time can get injured, by bringing him in now one can free up trades for other potential bubble boys next week such as Cripps, Gray, Robertson & Cutler. What happens if more than one player turns in a blinder?

GCSkiwi

Yeah I'm with you Rico, Even if Rohan gets another vest, worst case scenario he drops another 20k to 140k, still make 20k trading him down to lloyd. I'll pay that extra 20k to make sure I get a Lloyd price rise. Especially if Lloyd plays and gets injured/ 20 points this week, all of a sudden that 135 doesn't look so nice given it's out of the equation after 1 round.

Given the way Lloyd played though if he gives it a half decent effort this week I'd say he's safe for a few rounds at least!

Yeh I agree man. Stranger things have happened though

Typhnn

i believe he could produce similar scores to J.Merrett and by his game on friday night, i'd rather him over caddy/rohan purely because you can't count on those guys... as F6 or even loophole F7-8

While I get the point I think the problem is timing - Cripps, Robertson and Gray are all Mids, Cutler a defender, I don't think anyone would have a cow worth trading out for them yet. Maybe Tyson if he gets another 50 this week, but then that's only 1 trade. I certainly won't have a defender to cull for Cutler, or another mid to cull for 2 mid trades. Your point is only really valid if you're expecting to have 2 players ready to trade out next week already, don't think many would be.
