Round 5 Thread for Team Lodgements for discussion

Teams are to be lodged in this format as per rules:
Backs: *** , *** , *** , ***  - Four starting backs
Mids: ***, ***, ***, ***  - Four starting mids
Ruck: ***  - One starting ruck
Forwards: ***, ***, ***, ***  - Four starting forwards
Utilities: ***, ***  - Two starting utilities (These can be players from any position)
Emergencies: ***, ***, ***  - Four emergencies (One for each Line but if OOP is used half points will apply if used) One of the emergencies to be nominated as sub,
Captain: Double points
Vice - Captain: Score doubled if Captain does not play.
Emergency Vice Captain Score doubled if Captain or Vice Captain do not play. (Should not occur very often but with no rolling lock out may be a possibility)

Emergencies should be named as ****; *****(OOP if necessary), ***** (sub) *****. Remember also to name your emergencies in preferential order as first named emergency will be first used if utilities are upgraded as per rules.


1. Hebden Bridge Hedgehogs  v Bradford Badgers @ Todmorden Sports Centre
An 8 point game for both teams here - Badgers only scraped home last week and Hedgehogs had a strong win last week.
2. Newcastle Falcons v Oxford Owls @ Chester-le-street Oval
Falcons should hold sway here but Owls may surprise.
3. Grope Lane Giants  v Winchester Werewolves @ Giant Stadium
A Giants win would be the upset of the season
4. Liverpool Rams v Blackpool Bunnies @ Goodison Park
Favour Bunnies here but a Rams win would not surprise
5. Leeds Leeches v Manchester Magic @ Elland Road Stadium
Start of a strong run of matches for Magic and must win this one if to be a genuine contender
6. Crosby Cruisers v Birmingham Dragons @ Ewood Park
Cruisers first one last week facing a disappointing Dragons could go either way.
7. Swansea Breakers v Huddersfield Hawks @ Swalec Stadium
Hawks are hitting form and should account for the Breakers,
8. Hastings Hurricanes  v Staines Steins @ Pilot Fields
A steins win here would be another upset.
9. Nottingham Hoods v Swindon Swaggers @ Trent Bridge
Hoods should win this one but with their injury concerns a Swaggers win would not surprise.
