Beijing Thunder   v   Toronto Wolves   Beijing Olympic Park
PNL Reindeers   v   London Royals   Stade du Ray   European Premiership Match
Dublin Destroyers   v   Cape Town Cobras   Crooke Park
New Delhi Tigers   v   Pacific Islanders   Wipro Stadium
Tokyo Samurai   v   Wellington Warriors   Tokyo Olympic Stadium
Cairo Sands   v   Seoul Magpies   Borg El Arab Stadium

Highlights:
Berlin find themselves having lost its last 2 matches and are in the pack with a 2-2 record. They come up against a rampaging Mexico City looking to make amends. Berlin would love to win at least one of the Suns, and round 6 opponent Buenos Aires. Not an easy task.

Buenos Aires look the best team in the competition this year, with only a minor slip up against Toronto almost costing them a win. But they are 4-0 and clearly the team to beat. Moscow have been consistent in the 133-140 range, which wasn't good enough to beat London, and will need to lift its game if they are to upset the Armadillos.

New York's form reads 103, 134, 150 and 128. Sao Paulo 138, 133, 156 and 154. The Pumas will be clearly favourites for this match, but shouldn't take them lightly. New York have won 3, Sao Paulo 2, and this could be a season defining match. Should note also that this is an Americas Premiership match, and New York have yet to win a match in this league in 2012 or 2013.

Only 9 points separate Beijing and Toronto over the course of the year, but Beijing have performed above expectations while Toronto are winless. This is a must win match for Toronto if they are to stay in contention for a 3rd consecutive finals match, while Beijing will fancy its chances.

4th placed PNL will need a win to stay in the top 4 (and that may not be enough, they are only 0.05% inside it!), and after 3 matches in a row, the Reindeers can start dreaming about finals... but a long way to go. London stands in its way, who found some form for its first win last round.

Dublin were shocked by Tokyo last week, while Cape Town just held on against Berlin. Dublin have been bullish about its prospects this year, but a 2nd loss in a row will open the door for Cairo and Sao Paulo to take its place in the top 4. Cape Town have been up and down this year, and a big scalp like this would make pundits take notice.

New Delhi and Pacific were both expected to struggle this year - which makes this match incredibly important for them. Pacific have managed 2 wins this year, and a 3rd could be on the cards against a New Delhi team that has mostly been poor. Wooden Spoon on the line really.

Tokyo are over the moon after upsetting the Destroyers this week, but the last thing they would need is to lose the very next week against the wooden spoon favourites. Wellington are short on personnel, and wins look a while away, but will be pumped for this one.

Cairo will have a point to prove after looking limp against PNL last week, while Seoul have been very poor since its stirring round 1 victory. Cairo will be favourites, but the knives will be out if a loss comes.

#7
Tokyo may finally have selection headaches in our forward line this week with Tippett and Dahlhaus possible returns and after strong debuts from Sam Lloyd and Alex Fasolo we may choose to attack  :o ;D

Judd also a possible return

Purple 77

Got a nice field of options for VC's for a potential loophole this week  8)

And I feel confident in doing it, as if it goes to showers, I have Fyfe back!

PARISIAN NICE LYON REINDEERS

Backs: K. Simpson, C. Enright, J. Harbrow, M. Jaensch
Mids: M. Priddis, N. Jones (C), L. Ball, F. Ray
Fwds: J. Westhoff (VC), C. Rioli, C. Wingard, L. Jones

Emg: L. Casboult, J. Trengove, J. Patton

OUT: J. Patton

Subject to change of course but this is if Wingard finds his way into the Port side this week after being out with an injury last week. Jones able to keep his spot up forward, keeping the likes of Casboult, Patton and Dawes out of the lineup! Most other positions seem sorted bar injuries most weeks, and depending on form.
