Any idea on Gray's job security at this point in time?
I'd like to to go Cunningham to Gray, but no point doing that if he's going to be dropped in the next few weeks.

At this stage I'm thinking of going Ambrose/Rohan to Loyd and Tom Mitchell to Fasolo.
Gives me some decent bench cover and also some cash for upgrades next week.

I`m thinking he came in for either Monfries or Wingard.Hope it was Monfries as he`ll be out longer and Wingard is expected back this week.

Came in for Mason Shaw > LTI  http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/afl/port-adelaide-rookie-sam-gray-a-chance-to-make-his-afl-debut-against-brisbane-lions/story-fnia6ojc-1226879811931

I think the discussion was about who's spot he was filling in the 22 rather than on the list. ;)

It's possible that Young might go out ahead of Gray but I wouldn't be super confident on him holding his spot in the medium term. If he plays next week and has another good one that will certainly help.

Correct but pointing out Shaw is only out for 5-6 weeks via the website, so that is the worrying aspect > JS

Nothing to be concerned about, as per the LTI rules Shaw is not able to play for 8 weeks from the time he is put on the list.

I think we're at the point where have to jump on the rookies with the lowest B/Es while available so I've gone the double downgrade this week and have cashed myself up with 400k in the bank.

Hopefully will be able to pounce on some juicy fallen premos in the coming weeks.

it seems this is 'all the rage' at the moment, but i'm not quite 100% sold ... tough one, I think I might hedge my bets and do one of each perhaps??  ???

still early in the wk though, injury reports should hopefully be out today and with the short week (partial lock-out this round??) teams will be interesting ... ;)

I planned to do this as well Ada but Mumford having had surgery means I either have to hold him & play Currie for a couple of weeks, or miss out on the second downgrade... Not sure what to do.

Someone is suggesting on the SC boards that it might even be worth holding Mumford, as he's been described as missing "up to two weeks"... Could even be back as soon as next week :o

#53
Def -Suckling , hooker , hibberd , Simpson , jeanch , swallow. ( griffiths & Langford )
Mids - ablett, rosa, m.thomas , macrae , dunstan , shiels , beams , Tyson ( polec & Langdon )
Rucks - mummy & sandi ( derricks & hickey )
Forwards - N. Riewolt , Martin , merrett , darling , hunter, wright ( Rohan & frost )

Am I crazy in thinking of these 2 trades & have 469k left in the bank ?
Shiels - M.Crouch
Rohan - Lloyd
Also hoping hickey plays if not it will screw me over.
Any other trades I should be looking at doing instead?
Frost will turn into bock or honeychurch in the next few weeks then it will be time to trade out some cash cows and power up the mids for the run home.

henry

Would love to get Lloyd but have to trade out mumford and hanley, both of whom were traded in in the last 2 weeks  ::) >:(

Jalapeno

Help me choose guys....
So im def going caddy to lloyd

And then either Mullett or Langdon to Smith or Frawley.

Mullett out will give me an extra 200k
Langdon out will mean I field no rookie defenders

Okay with Shiels going down, I'm totally stuck. My bye structure currently sits at 13,8,9. Obvious problems are Mumford,Shiels, Rohan and Caddy. Any thoughts? Would greatly appreciate it!
