I'm trading. I can afford any ruck, but can't decide best pick?  :-[

Cox - getting old, scoring has been ordinary, BUT with Nic Nat playing like shower he may score better?
Goldy - his shoulder concerns me, plus the fact Currie potentially playing aside him could cost points
Minno - can he repeat last year?
Sauce - he flowered me over last year, and I haven't got over it

I know there is a mummy trade thread, but what are Nic Nat owners thinking?

I think i'm going with Sauce because of his price, but if I had the money i'd probably go with Goldy. He's cheap at the moment, has the history to back him up and age is not a factor as it is with Cox.

Got him for reason.  Not trusting any alternative in the short term.

Interesting. You can see him improving soon enough to make the current poor scores worth it?

He's dropped $80k and predicted to drop another $40k this week. It's either now or never, and I can't see him bouncing back in short term so I'm cutting my losses I think mate. Good luck to you and your balls of steel!

I'm probably trading. Don't want Sauce or Goldy because of the Rd.8 bye (and Currie's presence). Trying to decide between Big Boy, Big Cox or Big Minno.

I think Minno has the higher ceiling, Cox the durability, and Big Boy is the cheapest whilst still a good chance to average 100+.

I really wish the Hawks weren't playing Monday this week :-\

I've done a complete back flip and am now thinking of holding him for the interim. I can afford to get Sauce in this week but just not sure if he is the bees knees and with Nic Nat not playing this week his price isn't gonna drop. Then I can make a downgrade to free up some cash so I can afford whoever I please Goldy, Minson, Cox, Mumford if he gets back in time.

Where have you heard he is not playing?

Interesting, just saw this on twitter

Perth media speculating on Nic Nats injury this week. Xavier Ellis on 7 made it clear it was an achilles he had also battled over the summer

Lame. I was already set on my two trades for this week once Simmo said he wouldn't be dropped. Now I'm probably going to miss out on Crouch  :-[

I have hickey and currie on the pine , should I hold nic nat .? Going for league win only . .

Fark! Now I'm really screwed. I've got Rohan, Caddy and McDonough in my fwds. Was hoping to get rid of two of them for Fasolo and Crouch (via Taylor DPP). Still got Hanley as well. :'(

Not really sold on any of the ruck options either.

all this says is that the media is speculating
im holding, West Coast tanked last week and I am sure he just ran around to gain the extra fitness
no doubt selection time will prove me wrong because the supercoach gods hate me

I picked NicNat knowing he would start slow... but after starting like a Sloth and not looking anywhere near it, I am struggling to think what to do.

Unfortunately, I cannot even trade him on for anything worthwhile due to his price drop.

The only thing I can do is:
1) Keep him and hope
2) Trade Impey to Lloyd now, which allows me to bring in Sauce.
3) Just bring in Hickey and hope he becomes a keeper!
Feel free to steer me on what to do!

felsty

I'm going the second option, jumping on the sauce. Hasn't looked to be anywhere near it!

Hrmm I've already used 4 trades and having to use 2 more frightens me this early!  :'(

Leaning to either keeping him or taking on Hickey. With the price rises, I will probably make 200K if I decide to go to NicNat later on again.

smashbox

i think im trading him out, still looks really unfit. If he does play gonna trade him out to Goldstein, and if he doesnt gonna trade him to Minson next week. Cant afford to take a risk with his price drop due to go down 45,000
