Lloyd's JS

How do people rate his JS? The reason I ask is I've got Nic Nat and he is unlikely to play this week and it will be time to move him on. Sauce is looking the obvious replacement for a few reasons. He's very durable, he's scoring well and with the crows playing GWS -Mumford, Dogs and Melbourne leading up to there bye he has a favourable draw. I need to free up some cash however and Rohan is that guy. Lloyd will play this week but I would hate to bring him in after 1 week for him to get dropped on the bubble so I was thinking Ambrose could also be an option for me. Just checked the injury list on the AFL website and he doesn't get a mention?

Ambrose is still a few weeks away I think. I would bring in Lloyd ahead of Ambrose unless it's for F8 and you can afford to have someone not playing for a few weeks... Even then after the way Lloyd played Friday he must have shored up his position nicely, surely.

If Ambrose is still a few weeks away then I might as well grab Lloyd and hope for the best. Could always grab Ambrose for Impey later on once Impey has maxed out at 200k.

Judd Magic

I'm going to keep Ambrose at F8 and grab Lloyd for Tyson next week so I can turn Webster the muppet into Hibberd.

So looking forward to getting rid of that flowering spud in Webster!

I can understand ya wanna get rid of Webster but for Tyson, really? Who comes on for Tyson?

Lloyd via Taylor dpp.

This is for next week though as Tyson wont have a great deal of mooing to go after that.

My backline sucks with only Mitchell, McVeigh and Enright as premos there and then I have Webster, McDonald and Langdon with Langford and Georgiou on the bench.

Need to fix up my backline ASAP as its killing me playing Webster and 2 rookies every week.

Step 1: Slap yourself for picking Webster
Step 2: Replace Webster on field with Langford
Step 3: Keep calm and carry Tyson

Tyson has heaps more to gain once this 50 is out of his rolling average. If he keeps getting attention then he may have to go but if he starts scoring 80+ again there's a lot more mooing to be done. He's got an average of 90, that's easily another 100k above his current price.

felsty

I'm in the same predicament and looking to see if it is worthwhile downgrading Impey > Lloyd a week early and doing NicNat > Sauce

Don't trade out Tyson.. Awesome coverage during bye rounds and still has money to make once that 50 goes through his rolling average. Only struggled because of the attention. It won't happen every week.

Agree he has plenty more mooing- my worry is that I like where Crouch is heading (JS + opponents next 3 weeks) and don't have anyone else to downgrade for $. I might look at this trade and miss the max output for Tyson... hhhhmmmmmmm

Bully

I think he's done enough to be selected up until the byes. In which case he will earn between 120-140k based on a 70-80 average. Richmond play Brisbane next week so hopefully he tons up, if he does, he will put on close to 100k in the first week, that alone is reason enough to select him.

Jroo

Lloyd was one of our best players last week, so he'll stay in the team for a while.
However, don't expect scores of 100+ week, scores of 60-70 are more realistic.

This, he is a small forward and King will come back into the side. Better than JkH or impey, but im looking at him as bench option only, will give him one more week to watch him.

King is not guaranteed to come in, his form has been terrible to be honest, he's been fumbley and ineffective. I would even go so far as to suggest King's future is hanging by a thread.

Toga

Yeah I think his JS is quite good at the moment, especially after Friday's performance. As Bully said, King is not guaranteed a spot in the side and I think Lloyd has to be ahead of him now, looked much more dangerous & effective around goals than King has so far this season.

Jump on! ;)

The bye is a real pain though, my plan (like a lot of others) was to pick round 10 bye rookies and hope that the likes of Lloyd, Crouch etc would be good downgrades in round 9/10. They've come in a bit early for that strategy to work well, if I trade Rohan to Lloyd then that means another player out round 8... starts to look a lot like tanking!

My team as it stands now is 9/7/14, if I went Rohan to Lloyd it would be 10/7/13 which isn't so bad but it means I would need just about everyone playing in round 8... can have 4 out on field, as well as 8 on the bench, to field 18... Bringing in Lloyd now would leave me with 2 guaranteed out in both the mids and forwards, I would need everyone else playing...
