i want to trade him to macrae but unforunately im 7k short. I currently have 26 trades

i would have to do a downgrade first to be able to get macrae
1) Tmitch
2) JKH/Impey to Lloyd
3) mid rookie to gray/Crouch
Is it a waste using up these trades? Also any other ideas?

That's a tough one! I'm almost tempted to say you've missed the boat on Macrae and perhaps should have jumped on last week.

Having said that, JKH to Lloyd could be a good option if you were very keen to dump Daisy.

Macrae has great value because he is averaging about 110 and hes priced under 430k.
if i did trade Lloyd in he would be on my bench

Lloyd will score far better than Impey and JKH and his JS is much better after his performance the other night. Should make some money atleast. If you are really keen to get Macrae for Daisy then that is the best option out of the ones you listed.

Also do you have Caddy?

Here is my team : 26 trades left, $55,900
def: Mitchell, Swallow, Mcveigh, Suckling, Mcdonald, Langdon (Langford and Georgiou)
Mid: Ablett, Pendlebury, Beams, Fyfe, D.Thomas, Polec, Tyson, Dunstan (Aish and Ellis)
Ruc: Sandilands and Pyke (Currie and Derickx)
Fwd: Martin, Roughead, Dangerfield, Higgins, T.Mitchell, Fasolo (Impey and JKH)

If my maths is right - Aish has almost reached his highest value (about 40K to go but will need a few weeks to recover from this round).  He's now a lot of coin to be sitting on the bench.

If that is the case you could trade him for Crouch.

That will give you enough money for the Daisy trade.

As you already have Fasolo, I reckon it might be worth waiting another week to watch Lloyd.  Just my 2 cents.

Thanks for the Advice, Aish has a breakeven
of about 50, he has only made me $69,000 though

daisy-mccrae not worth it. it's unlikely that he'll be able to sustain his form to finish as a top 8 mid, thus you're essentially going to be using 3 trades for an extra 15-20ppg (the two to get him now, plus one when you upgrade).

those that started with him, kudos. those that didn't, the ship has sailed.

Daisy is really looking, to me, like a failed experiment at Carlton, Fever.  Would you trade him out or hold on, hoping that Carlton will solve their problems and Thomas will find some form?  Hypothetically, of course, if you decided to trade him who do you think would be a good option instead of Macrae?

fever

IF i were to trade him it would probably be to a rookie (ppl seem to like crouch, or cripps), but i dont understand why everyone is jumping off so early.

surely people did their reasearch and knew that daisy was coming off an injury and limited preseason. he was always going to take a while to find fitness and form and thus anyone who started with him shouldve been doing so with the expectation that he would be held until late on in the year when he would've had time to mature in a price sense and then be upgraded to a prem (or possibly best case scenario be left as M9 cover).

I have come up with some trade ideas for this round.
1) Thomas to Jaesch
2) Impey/JKH to Lloyd then Thomas to Macrae
3) Thomas to Crouch
4) or do nothing?
What do u guys think? Which trade should I do? I'm also a bit worried about the byes, current players missing for the byes are 11/8/11
and these trades could affect my bye structure

Maybe instead of macrae maybe Matt Thomas could be a good choice but in saying that macrame has shown a Lot and Lloyd is a good choice instead of JKH. Also polec is an option as well, if your looking for some extra cash for the upcoming byes.

Between those two I think Macrame has it stitched up. ;)

Thomas to Macrae is a little bit sideways for my liking, Yes Macrae is going well at the minute but will he be a top 8 mid by years end. Thomas to Crouch then Aish to a 560k mid or wait till next week and get Lloyd or Gray on the bubble to go to any mid you want really.
