I would look at this trade though in case you have not considered it Rohan to Matt Crouch via Taylor will net you $45k cash.

I'm considering the merits of Tyson or Dunstan to Crouch. Tyson has been a weapon and scored really well, but Carrots tagging him gave him an average score. Will he cop attention from other teams? Dunstan has been erratic but still made a lot of cash and has a healthily negative BE. But his 50 on the weekend wasn't as a result of particularly close attention, just hitting the wall a little. In both cases, a 50 is going to affect their price rises over the next few weeks, otherwise I wouldn't even be considering it. From a money point of view, trading Tyson makes more sense as he's worth more and has a higher BE than Dunstan. However, I rate Tysons chances of going back to 90+ higher than Dunstan, as Dunstans average is a little flattered by that 143.

I'm also weighing this up against who could be likely downgrades in the near future... Gray or Cripps maybe next week. Honeychurch? Morabito? Towers? Van Unen? C.Beams? None really fill me with confidence about their job security and scoring potential later on. So I'm considering culling a not-quite-fattened cow against the chance of no better DG options later...

My bye structure is heavily round 10 weighted, currently 9/7/14 so I'm happy to shift a 10 to an 8.

I doubt Tyson will be tagged that much going forward. Carlton tag more than any other team hence why he was tagged last week. N Jones is in fantastic form at the moment and should always get the No.1 tag.

A few people here have mentioned Dunstan looked tired. I didn't see much of the game so can't specifically comment, however they did play in Perth the previous week in warm weather so that may have been a contributing factor.

Valid point you make about future downgrade options, but there's always someone that pops up as teams get injuries or start trying out the young kids when it's obvious there season is going nowhere.

Having said that I can't even think about downgrading any mids at the moment as I have other issues to deal with >:(

Holding Hanley - would be a massive waste of a trade. I have decent cover in Langdon/LMac/Geoergiou.
Waiting on final teams for a decision on NicNat. Would like to keep him, don't want to waste a trade to sideways him to someone else. But will if I have to.
Still up in the air towards Caddy, can't decide whether to give him one more week or downgrade to Fasolo. If I bring in Fasolo it means I have M5-Fasolo and M6-Impey/JKH/Rohan.

Rnd 6 will be Rohan to Lloyd for some cash generation, even if he only scores 60-70.

That's my other concern. I'm not sure whether to trade Hanley or not still.

Yeah, I didn't realise until the season started that I pumped way too much into my midfield which has left my FWD depleted.

In your case you could downgrade cotch to a rook and upgrade one those FWD rooks to a premo

I like fasolo scoring potential coming off that hbf. Reckon he will score decently which is why I really want him at f6. Taylor will give me 50-60s fasolo can give me 80-90s I reckon. 

It's either your scenario 1 trade or
Rohan to fasolo and crouch in for either Ellis or aish ( not 100% fattened but still gives me good coin) 2 trade

Already have 5 prem forwards plus Higgins at F6 so don't need Fas - and his bye doesn't help me either so I am happy to pass on Fasolo

Power to you. Wish I was in your predicament. I have Danger, Dusty, Roughy, Titch, Higgins and Taylor so need to grab Fasolo this week.

fwd:  danger, roughy, titch, wright, zorko and higgins,  taylor and bloody rohan.   

Cant get rid of rohan till next week when it will be rohan lloyd.    Fasolo too expensiveand risky against current forwards.   Would kill for a reliable forward line.     Maybe by bye time Franklin can find the footy.   else boomer might be my upgrade (sad isnt it)

I think Crouch has a lot more upside than Georgiou.

I think Crouch has a lot more upside than Georgiou.

Yeh but its only 70k profit for a trade and MCrouch has a Round 8 bye which isn't helpful at all
