Easy to say that in hindsight. Mitchell racked up some huge scores last year and potentially could have carried on the same this year, and with the lack of fwd class this year seemed like a viable option. Webster has had a year in the system and was basically rookie priced with good JS, plus he uses it well and kicks long. Now, feel free to name your team and we can criticize some of your iffy picks?

Yes but I knew the chances of Webster breaking out was about 5%. The team wasn't going to stand out, and there were players leagues above him who would outscore him everyweek, and also second year. Reason why I wouldnt touch Mitchell is that there were just better options at that price, and the curse would most likely effect him too. And i'm not saying my team is perfect either. I had bloody Luey and he's been bad for me all year.

Edit: But i guess to my benefit I am a St Kilda supporter, so i sort of knew he wouldn't perform as well as his Pre-season. So sorry buddy
