Leppa announce a 3-4 week hammy :/

Sabretooth Tigers

Brought Hanley in for Hurn but at the last minute decided to hold Hurn 1 more week and grab Rioli instead. Looked at getting Mummy but didn't, but still and just like almost everybody else, being affected by this weeks carnage. And just to top it off I have, and will always, barrack for the Tiges. Good luck and best wishes for survival to all my suffering SC addicts.    :'(

I'm wondering if what Leppa said was just him exaggerating because of the Lions recent bad luck with injuries?

For what it's worth, Hanley just tweeted saying he will do 'all in his power' to play next week. Probably doesn't mean much, but he must be feeling okay.

Hanley's got a pretty good record for coming back quicker than expected. Going to hold.

Yeah very true. Can remember him last year nearing finals with his hand, came back the same week or missed one when he was supposed to miss like 3-4.

Yep only missed one, good call

I dont want to point out the bleeding obvious and I like the optimism and all but a hand injury and a hamstring injury are 2 completely different kettles of fish... one is structural and one is soft tissue. You can still run and kick with a minor hand issue, you can not with a hamstring...

Understand that mate, but stranger things have happened.

Would not be surprised to seem him pull up in 1-2 weeks. He's as strong as they come.

If the injury list says 2 or more weeks then I will have to move him on. Such a shame cos he is one of the best options in defence this year.

Ricochet

Think I'll still have to hold him for another week even if 3+ week injury. Really wanted to bring in some rookies next week

3-4 weeks is a painful time frame, I'd probably trade him out. But like you say, some good rookies on the bubble this week - Crouch & Fasolo. Although next week is Lloyd, Sam Gray & Robertson.

Might even be better to hold and hope Langford can do the job.

didn't selwood do his hammy 2 weeks before rnd 1
that's why I didn't start him thought he wouldn't play be undone by I was wrong with that one
