Im Getting My Forward Line as Set and forget for the rest of the season as I can this round.  The only Final decision I have is who to trade Caddy to. I know he will make a little money this round but with what i have planned for next round (2 trades) I need to jump off him now.  I already have

1-  Danger
2-  Martin
3-  Wingard
4-  Parker
5-  Rioli
6-  Caddy

So my question is - Looking in to the crystal ball is who do we think will be the best 6 scoring forwards come season end. The big questions for me are.

1. Can Breust keep up his great form and have a "break out Year"
2. Can Roo keep the clock wound back and help the young saints to steal a few wins
3- Will Chapman keep kicking goals and scoring well
4- Will Zorko the Magnificent regularly pump out scores of 100+ even with the odd low scoring week such as last week
5- Can the Big Rough Hit his form of last season and pump out scores of 100+
6- Cand Budweiser Franklin find his Rhythm at Sydney and get back to his best

At this stage I am leaning towards Chapman, Breust or the Big Rough but im really not sure

Thanks in advance for your thoughts and help

Danger

Yeah Nroo is a hard one i think at the moment. I never normally go for the key foward type but he has been playing very well. Roughead if he plays up the ground a bit more might be a good pick

The current top 3 are all over 30, N.Roo, Boomer, and Chappy.  Will they all continue in the same vein?  Chappy will average right up there, though I think for him to last the whole season he will need to have some well managed rests (this week a possibility?) so dont think he's a total point score top 6.  N.Roo and Boomer have more of a shake, but would require a fair amount of luck with injuries.....for what it's worth I think N.Roo will be top 6, but Boomer will miss a chunk of games somewhere

Vinny

NRoo
Boomer
Rioli
Dusty
Danger
Chappy
Roughy
Parker

Not sure Chappy and Rioli will play enough games but their averages will be up their with the best IMO.

Then Buddy, Chad, Boomer, Roughy, Chappy.

I wonder if you are jumping the gun a bit as set and forget for any particular line this early is fraught with danger and limits you if someone starts demanding selection.

Also makes it harder to get on the really good cash cows.

I generally leave one spot a line for a super bargain F6/M8/D6, maybe not top 6 but someone who will be within say a 5 point average of the top 10 (eg Priddis the last couple of years), just someone who represents too good value to ignore. I find you can save a few hundred grand that way, so it takes a couple less downgrades/trades.

Just putting it out there... for example, lets say you take NRoo but Boomer rolls an ankle in the first minute and is $100k cheaper in 3 weeks time, well you miss the opportunity!

And also FWIW: I see the top 10-12th forward scoring as well as the 6th, so there are a number of options who will all do you well.

wouldnt be suprised if Darling is a top 10 forward this year

On average:
Dangerfield
NRoo
Martin
Rioli
Roughead
Wingard
Parker, Franklin, boomer, Chappy.

On total points:
Dangerfield
NRoo
Martin
Roughead
Parker
Boomer

If Darling tons up or gets close to 100 against Geelong tonight then the breakout sirens would be ringing. If he scores 40-60 then ... nevermind
