Ablett averaging 147 this season, and I think I read on here somewhere that he has one of his better career records versus Hawthorn, I would lean towards Ablett, thought it probably depends on if you are chasing points or a league win, and what your opponent is doing, for example if you are only going for the league win and think you will win comfortably, I'd take the 129, though if your opponent takes Pendles and you look like losing, roll the dice on Gazza...

It's a brave man to knock back 129 points. For the sake of gaining another 16 (his average) v the risk?
I'm banking.

Yeah......but it's Gaz were talking about. Roll the dice!

This is a difficult decision as it is in the do I or don't I.  Ablett's average against Hawthorn whilst at Gold Coast is 163 so you are looking at a differential of 39 points if he maintains that average. Risk is he may get injured or have a down day and get way below.  Go with the gut on this one guarantee v risk difficult I know.

I'm thinking gaj but I do have my concerns with the way Langford has been playing his run with role. IMO Macaffer & Langford are the 2 in form run with players, even though it is early in the season.
I honestly believe gaj will score around the same points as pendles, so why risk a player that already has the runs on the board.
Ablett has scored well in the past against the hawks when Sewell, Lewis & shiels have played on him. I believe Langford is more of a pest compared to these guys.

Tough call this. Real tough, Bloody Pendles, all you had to do was score another 5-10 points and I would lock it in

I need to make a decision very soon too as King only non playing player

Ablett's scores against Hawks since being at the Suns in chronological order are 144, 170, 189 and 149. Seems to love playing them. But anything can happen. Think it depends how confident you are of winning your league matches. If you think you will when regardless just stick with Pendles, but if you need to take a risk go Ablett.

I'm taking the pendles score - lock it in eddie  ;)

Main league opponent has Ablett so wont be taking it to cover the possibility.
On unique players should be a comfortable win.
