Hickey out with no ruck cover. Help!

With Hickey out this week I am looking at a donut as I have no bench cover in the ruck. I don't enough cash in the bank to upgrade Hickey to a keeper in the ruck.

My options are:

A: Hickey to Hampson
B: Rohan to Currie/Derickx via Thurlow

Rohan is currently my F7 so Thurlow would just sit on my bench in the forward line if I was to choose option B.

Which option should I go with?

In the same position as you mate, although I do have Currie on the bench, but against Sydney that's probably close to a donut anyway

I guess we got 1 cash rise out of Hickey, and being a calf issue I am really worried that it could stretch out longer than a week

I really don't want to, but I am leaning towards sideways trading him to Hampson  :-[

Sounds like you don't have the cash to go either one of them to Currie and don't think you will find out how bad Hickey's calf is till next week so if you are not confident with Currie Hampson maybe be your best bet

I could turn one of them into Currie as I currently have 120k but that feels like a wasted trade because at least if I get rid of Rohan I will be making a bit over 50k. Also, I want to have enough cash left over to trade out Caddy to a premium next week.

I've done it. Hickey to Hampson, because I have zero faith in fielding Currie, especially against Sydney

Annoying that Hickey only lasted 3 weeks, but at least we got 1 cash rise, and Hampson can continue on for us.

Ahaha to think I made the same trade last week, Hampson to HMac... in hindsight I could have held him with Currie but didnt want to take the risk. I think Hampson will do you guys well though! I certainly enjoyed his first 2 weeks. At least I didnt bring in Hickey ;) bullet dodged there

Ended up going for Hampson. Hate sideways trading but was probably the best option. Kind of hope that Hickey is out for a few weeks so I can be very comfortable with the decision.
