Hampson destroyed Grundy in the preseason so he's every chance to ton up, he'll also make you 100k over the next 2 weeks. With your initial Hickey rise and Hampson's potential 100k, you haven't lost any ground on the likes of Mummy, so bring him in just prior to the byes. It's an extra trade but it is an injury after all, these things can't be helped.

Thanks Bully. You are right, at the end of the day I will still generate 150k out of the two, but it's now just cost me a trade, but that happens with injuries

I think I need to do Hickey to Hampson

Hickey to Hampson for me, costs a trade, but will generate cash as well as cover the zero.

I can go hickey to Mumford in one trade. Have a touch over 200k in the kitty. Not sure I want to do tho as I had caddy to Rioli signed sealed and delivered. Hmmm.  Have currie on the pine so could play him but like u all know, how long is a calf injury, combined with his dicky toe from a fortnight ago.....

I guess the comparison in one trade would  be Rioli / currie v mummy / caddy on field this week. Also the caddy trade allows me to go michie to josh Kelly if I wished also. Interesting interesting.

I'd like to keep hickey as I really think he can maintain a 90 ave giving good bang for your buck, but the prospects of boarding the mummy train are mighty mighty enticing.

Thoughts?

Yeah I am doing this too. I just have zero faith in fielding Currie

JKH lives to see another week now (But is almost locked to be traded to Crouch next week)

My other trade will be Michie out. Buckley or Kelly is the decision

Knowing my luck, Hampson wont go well tonight and Hickey will be back next week LOL.

Hampson will be number 1 ruck until the byes, so he should do the job as long as he stays fit. HMac has Simpson to contend with

I've had the Sandi HMac/Hickey combo going all year. HMac has been ok without being awesome. Just pulled out decent scores at the right times. Until Geelong stop playing HMac, Simpson, Blicavs all in the same team he will probably continue with 90-100 scores.

Similar situation last week with Hampson...it was either cop a donut or trade a non-playing cheap ruck for Derickx, don't ask how I got myself into a situation like that, you don't want to know.  Actually the kid tries hard and got me 50+ points plus some bench cover for the future, it looks like Sydney plan to give him a good grounding and get lots of games into him.  Not even thinking of Mumford at this stage, he has burnt me twice in the past with LTI's so I'm extremely wary.  Right now happy to see how far Sandi and Hampson can take me.

I only have possible cover from Derickx so need to trade Hickey. Maybe make some cash from Hampson for a couple of weeks then bring Hickey back to finish off squeezing the cash out of him ;)
