Without trading this week my current team is

By making the 1 trade of Caddy -> Hampson my team is

Thinking of going Caddy -> Hampson for a quick cash grab and the ability to loop hole my 3 rucks with King. Nic Nat has been pretty ordinary so far so being able to play Hampson until Nic Nat hopefully comes good could be handy. Also would give me the ability to loophole Impey and Rohan with Brown. Don't think I would be losing many points by playing Impey and Rohan instead of Caddy.

Bully

You can't rely on Impey & Rohan for F6, bad move IMO.

This

Too much money in the rucks, not enough fwd

I'd like to know how you ended up with Brown instead of Currie though :o

Noz

So your plan is to have a 480k player sit on the bench until your happy with his scores and in the mean time play 2 poor scoring rookies in the attempt to trade Caddy to Hampson to make money when in reality Hampson costs 5k more?

No.

Can you explain exactly how you made that 1trade? Caddy is a FWD MId while hampson is a Ruck.

Pretty simple really.

L.Brown is a ruck/forward who he swapped Caddy with to the mids.

BlackBomber

Too much money on the ruck bench. Either trade out nicnat for someone decent, or keep him there and change caddy to maybe a fasolo (on the bubble next week) or just leave him there.

It was a pretty big balls up TBH. With speculation that Nic Nat may have missed round 1 which was the last game of the split round I kept enough money aside to grab Cox if Nic Nat didn't play. This meant saving the 6,600 difference between Currie and Brown.

How did you do this?

Traded Caddy to Hampson?

Brown is a ruck/fwd so I subbed him to the forward line in the trade room so then I could pick a ruck.

Did you not know you could do this? Haha... Anyone who is a DPP player can be swapped between their two positions in the trade room if there is an open slot, so for example if you have a M/F in your forward line and trade out a mid, you can shift the M/F into the mids and then trade in a forward...

Last year you could only make one position swap but now can do multiple ones, so say you have a M/F in the mids, and a D/M in defence, you could trade out a forward, shift the M/F into the forwards, the D/M into the mids and trade in a defender. DPP players just became even more useful :D
