F6 Rohan to Merrett

F6 is killing me, I have 200K in the chest and 27 trades. I am normally quite patient with trades but I just cannot see a better solution for F6 and I can see he 40-50's I'm going to get from Impey/Rohan cruelling my score week in week. Merrett seems to be getting plenty more of the pill this year, more marks, more tackles, but it's only 3 games so this could explode in my face.

McVeigh, Mitchell, Swallow, Dunn, Langford, Langdon (Georgio, Cameron)
GAJ, Pendles, Beams, Murphy, JPK, Polec, Dunstan, Ellis (Lemmens, Michie)
Mummy, Sandi (Thurlow, King)
Danger, Susty, Zorko, Higgins, Caddy, Rohan (Impey, jHK)

Other trade this week will  be Michie to probably Buckley.

Do it. Rohan at F6 is bad news so the best option with your amount of coin is Merrett. He's not going to average 100 but he could average around the 90 mark and become a decent F7 by year's end. At the very worst he could be a great money maker and then turned into a premium come round 10.

Just keep in mind that one bad game from Merrett could see him benched with players such as Kommer, Kavanagh, Dell'Olio and Colyer all waiting in the wings.

Contemplating the same trade, but don't know whether to boot Rohan or McDonaugh.

I tend to agree, I don't think he is a keeper and carlton was a joke last week.  He might end up getting the same points as Zorko did last week (40 odd points), then you will need to do a double trade.

Essendon are playing Freo in Freo and although Freo have injuries they are still a good defensively

if you got enough go JKH to Merrett. as much as we all hate Rohans scoring he is still in Syd's best 22 and will play.
if you can bring someone in and move Rohan to the bench as cover that'd be great.

Nice idea. Can stretch it that far if I take Mitchie to Buckley, which was the initial thought process.
