So my defenders are as follows: R. Shaw, J. Frawley, S. Thompson, M. Suckling, T. Langdon, S. Mitchell [A. Georgiou, J. Laidler]

For my two trade this week I was thinking R. Shaw to M. Jaensch and S. Thompson to D. Swallow??

Any thoughts??

If you let Frawley go the AFL might give you pick 2 as compensation!  ;D

Seriously, you need to make some changes fast and Swallow is a good start.

I wouldn't be trading Scotty T just yet, could easily get back to his scoring from last year.

Shaw-->KK
Frawley-->Swallow

Yeah I'm with Dave. Suggested great trades too, I'd do them if you have no other issues in your squad.

Don't stress over Thompson. He went 88 and 90, this thread wouldn't exist if the 71 didn't happen, haha. I'd still expect him to be a top defender come the end of the year.

Back your premiums in unless they have a major change in role or an LTI.

He went 86, 98 and 79 in the first three rounds last year before ripping out with 164. Keep the faith for a couple more weeks at least

Why is everyone against Frawley. He is averaging 85 (more than Thompson) and is making me quite good money (will be 400k+ this week). Should I really be getting rid of him??

Because Frawley is not proven and will not average any more than he is averaging right now which is not enough to be a keeper.

It is extremely likely that Scotty Thompson will average a lot more than Frawley by the end of the year.
