May as well rest them until after the bye imo

Shouldn't take the Giants lightly but I wouldn't mind seeing Lecca, Ellis and Shuey given the week off.

I think Lecca especially should not play
Ellis was supposed to play last week but the reckon he had a virus and that was why he didn`t play last week.

elephants

NicNat, Lycett and Gaff to the wafl, Ellis, Shuey and Lecca given the extra week off.

Welly, Sinclair and Colledge to come in.

I'd be the most brutal coach I swear.

LF

Sinclair needs to be upgraded again
Why haven't they done it yet?
Kid is awesome and I think he is better than Lycett

elephants

Yeah right now he's better than Lycett, think Lycett has a higher ceiling though.

Tough utility player Elliot Yeo has had his two front teeth repaired and is expected to don the clubs inaugural Indigenous Round guernsey this Sunday against North Melbourne.

Yeo, who had his two front teeth snapped in an accidental collision with Collingwood big man Jarrod Witts on the stroke of halftime last Saturday, saw a dentist today to have caps placed on his damaged fangs.

Fortunately, the roots and the bottom portion of the two top teeth remained intact so they were able to place caps on, which will help dull the pain.

Yeo was extraordinarily unlucky to be collected at a time when he did not have his mouthguard in place. Having spent a period through the midfield, he was exhausted and while catching his breath tucked his mouthguard under compression shorts.

In the 30 seconds that the mouthguard was stowed away, he was involved in the final passage of play for the first half when a Shannon Hurn pass from 50 metres was about to hit him lace out.

Unfortunately, he fumbled the mark, went to retrieve the ground ball and ran into the big frame of Witts.

While Yeo seems certain to play against the Kangaroos, the man subbed out of Saturdays game, midfielder Chris Masten, will be assessed for hamstring tightness.

Masten was subbed out in the last term during another bizarre period in the game.

In the final term, Brad Sheppard was initially subbed out for a concussion assessment and Mark Hutchings was injected into the game.

When Sheppard was given the medical all clear to resume, Hutchings made his way back to the bench before being sent into action again as Masten complained of a tight hamstring.

Masten finished in the red vest and he will be assessed through the course of the week.

As of 26th May
Waters (shoulder) season
Wilson (thumb) 2-3 weeks
Masten (tight hamstring) test

Capper

Wow that will be an interesting one to see if he plays or not. No doubt his mouth will be sore and he wont be able to eat much

John Kennedy ?  :P

Just what we need, JJK out against the Hawks  :'(

The_Captain

1 goal in 2 weeks for JK. Maybe that rest is what he needs. Darling to play deeper will be great!

elephants

I hope LeCras plays deeper... As great as it is seeing him rack up big numbers we need our most potent and dangerous forward close to goals! He's a very hard player to matchup on and if we're throwing him into the guts we can't exploit it!
