According to reports taking a cautious approach with Berger but that is good news for Martin.

tbh i'd finish berger up for the year and elevate smith.

Ringo

TBH strikes was thinking the same thing do not want to risk another LTI when nothing to be gained by playing him. Michael has been performing the little better though in NEAFL over the last 2 weeks and Smith had a slight injury last weekend.

Probably a good idea, have him fit and healthy for a full pre season and a big 2015.

Ringo

Beams had his knee iced last night as well so he may be the one to make way for Rocky next game.

Cant catch a break.

Dont upgrade Smith, upgrade Michael. We need to do all we can to keep him on our list. :P

Darn, sucks for him. I wish he could just get some consistent games, looks like a decent player when he plays.  :-\

Ahead of Round 18

Brent Moloney (Achilles) - TBC
Matthew Leuenberger (Achilles) - 1-2 weeks
Tom Cutler (Groin) - 2 weeks
Patrick Wearden (Quad) - 4 weeks
Jack Redden (Ankle) - Season
Daniel Rich (Knee) - Season
Brent Staker (Foot) - Season
Luke McGuane (Knee) - Season
Trent West (Knee) - Season

Interesting that Berger is now showing 1/2 weeks so if it were me I would cottonball him esopecially with Martin going so well and if required bring up Michael or Smith and let Berger recover completely and have a full pre-season.

Capper

Will they send Burger to the 2s to give him a game??

Ringo

He has had 2 games in NEAFL Tabs and complained of Achilles soreness in second so taken off at half time.

kilbluff1985

they would be crazy to bother getting Berger up for an AFL game this season just let him recover and get a good pre season

yep agreed. Stefan is in some rare form anyway. Berger should just look towards his pre season

Capper

YEha i would be keeping Berger in the 2s for the rest of the season just so he is getting some game time. Only if he is fit though
