From memory he is out of contract after this year i thought

Staker was off contract lasat season and was courted by Carlto but eventually signed with us till end of 2015 so he sealed till end of next year,

Matt Hass also confirmed that McGrath will line up in NEAFL again this weekend. Played 80% of game time last week.

Berger only 3/4 weeks is surprising but heres hoping it is correct.

Brent Burton has confirmed that Berger will start running and training with main group this week and should return in 2/3 weeks with Staker due the week after,

Good to hear, would be really good to have those guys back in the last few games of the season, as we'll need a lot of experience against teams like Collingwood, Freo, and Geelong

Starting to get some back - Suspect Berger will be return via NEAFL but with Browns retirement and Berger with good hands and sound kick will he come straight in if passed fit?

Staker not far away either so do we bring back these established players or keep getting games into Taylor, Gardiner, Cutler and co.  Interesting deliberations for match committee.

with Martin doing so well can you see Luey becoming much more a forward? i mean even if 100% next year i think it makes sense

Lions have not yet officially released the Round 14 Bupa report so unsure on Gardiner but will advise when released.

Think they may trial Berger/Martin for rest of year to see how it works.  Remember West can also come back as well.

Bear in mind Vinny he is still a rookie aged 19 so may get a rest similar to Aish last week. Maybe sub from time to time as well as he was sub in first game. He has played all games this year so that is a strong sign on JS,

Seen that Strikes so hopefully just a precaution as there was no mention of injury in match report. Moonboot is sometimes used to relieve pressure early in the week.  Will await todays BUPA report with interest,
