This also shapes as an intriguing game with the Suns coming off a big win against big brother last week against the undefeated Hawks.  Will not be easy with the Suns now turning Metricon into their fortress and having an undefetaed run of 5 games at the stadium but Hawks will test.

Ricochet

Will be interesting to see who comes back in to the Hawks side this week. They should get the job done

Nige

I think this could be a pretty good game.

Hawks are getting a few back this week though, that could be huge.

Hope the Suns get up (would keep them in the 8 if they do).

GoLions

Even though Freo were undermanned last week, the Hawks were extremely good, and if they continue to play like that I can't see anyone else even getting close for the rest of the year

kilbluff1985

i think it might be within 30 points because it's at MS

wonder how many times GC has reviewed the 2nd half of Essendon vs Hawks game closest anyone has been to them all year

Toga

Yeah GC are a much improved unit this year but the Hawks are a class above.

AaronKirk

Hawks should win but at Metricon it will be closer than most would think IMO.

Kind of funny how the two sons may be matched up on each other 15 odd years after their fathers did battle.

Jroo

I think this will be closer than most people think.
Gazza loves playing the Hawks so he'll be my captain in most fantasy comps.

Mr.Craig

Should be a good contest. Certainly not discounting the possibility of an upset.

I'm a Hawthorn supporter but I honestly believe Gold Coast will win this. They came within 9 points of us at metric on in 2011 or 2012 and should have beaten us last year at the G. Interesting one, wouldn't mind Lake, Stratton and McEvoy in the side

Deadly6

Very hot and muggy up here today, will test the hawks legs.

Also fascinating how different their roles are.

Think people are generally underestimating Gold Coast here.... Hawks by 3 goals
