@EssendonFC: @JanineMcGlynn Hi Janine, Ambrose is expected to miss the next two to three weeks with a quad strain.

flower, wanted to bring him in Hopefully Rohan pulls out some decent scores and can downgrade him to Ambrose later

Fid

Yeah, I am glad I went for Taylor (last week)...

4 weeks (if you include last week) is a long time sitting on the pine and not gaining value.

Would be a good down grade option in 3 - 4 weeks time

nopies4u

by then Bellchambers will probably be back.....

Bugger!

Do Essendon supporters think he will come back into the team when fit? Even with Bellchambers back, surely he's deserved a few more games as the third tall? I guess it will depend on whether they shift Carlisle back into defence too.

Bugger >:(

Will probably hold though.

He was close to be subbed in his last game. When Bellchambers is back with Ryder and Carlise moving permeantely forward it will be very hard for Ambrose to come back in. I expect the 3 weeks off then VFL, and then only if we get a few injuries he might get a call up.

So glad I got Lewis Taylor in over him last week, it was a real close decision between the two but my Brisbane bias paid off.

Could be a sneaky downgrade option over the bye period, will wait and see if he gets named alongside Belly.

Once Belly and Ryder are back in the side I cannot see him get a game.

I struggle to see how Belly will be the determining influence on Ambrose's JS, he's a 194cm mobile forward in the mould of Crameri, a player who incidentally played alongside Ryder & Belly on many occasions. His fate will be in his own hands, if he performs like he did against the Hawks he will stay.

Belly will impact Ambrose's JS because Belly was primed to play more fwd than ruck this year. With Belly, Carlisle and Daniher down fwd there just won't be enough room for another tall fwd. And Bomber is pretty strong in his stance in playing Carlisle fwd with Hurley down back.

I agree and I think he will, guy is a ripper. The game is all about athletisism these days and this bloke oozes it!
Will be a perfect downgrade target in a few weeks, works out well for us fantasy nuts
