Have been a couple of shocking umpire misses. The ground is terrible- the commentators said something about the Sheffield shield meaning there's heaps of sand? Can someone explain why?

Cause I have literally seen less sand at some beaches.

I think the sand is something to do with keeping the ground dry for cricket (not sure though). I'm just happy we haven't seen any ankle injuries because of it.

Was just about to post this. Umpiring has been shocking- although, to be fair, most the misses have been disadvantaging the giants

It hasn't been great but I honestly don't believe it's been atrocious. Whoever wins deserves it. Both teams have impressed me.
