Which would be the best replacement for Swan?

I'm leaning towards Libba, Watson, or maybe Jelwood. I don't think I can afford Pendles.

Libba is pretty cheap, should I jump on him? Thanks in advance!

EDIT: I will have to generate some cash first, Rohan to Ambrose, I think. I just don't think I can keep Swan.

All 3 are great choices- Selwood clearly the best choice from those three though IMO.

Libba's had his stinker for the year. Griffen back and will only get better. Get on him before he hits 600k+  8)

Yeah I'm thinking Libba.

Should I go Rohan to Ambrose to make it happen?

Not worth the trade unless Ambrose is named this weekend by Essendon. Rohan has better JS.

Considered holding.

Already lost the bulk of his losses for the year? Down $68K and surely he'll bounce back to score 100's.

With an average of only 93 he'll drop to $495900. So with that pessimistic prediction you've lost 50% already.

Hold.

Always hold premiums you chose him for a reason. Trading premiums is a rookie mistake

Cheers guys. I'll hold Swan. He looks like a duck-legged piglet out there at the moment though.

I also have Lobbe as my ruck other than Sandi. Not loving him at the moment either.

Yeh hold mate. Collingwood's fixture gets easier after the bye and he is a fantasy pig. Price becomes irrelevant with these top end premo's

I have Swan to and I really want to trade him. I can't stand having a 600k player as my lowest scoring mid for the round.

At the moment I have done.

Swan - Marc Murphy
Clurey - Josh Kelly.

I need the money for J. Kelly so I think that is the best option to downgrade.

Swan -> Murphy is hardly an improvement, if youre gonna trade him it would have to be to a top end player who you can guarantee will outscore him.

Back to the OP mentioning Lobbe, considered Hampson if he's back this week? I started him and loved him in my side, will make a lot of coin and put in some decent coin before you can upgrade him. That will then give you cash to pretty much trade Swan to anyone (Pendles, Selwood, Libba, Watson?) Plus probably some left over. If you were going to use 2 trades, this is it, better than Rohan -> Ambrose which achieves nothing.

swan has had a shocking 3 games by his standards. but trading him out is a rookie mistake. The value of your keepers is irrelevant to any discussion.
H1 is right as well. Swan - Murphy is no way a long term trade. The only reason to have murphy at the start of the season was because he was underpriced. He was never going to be a top 8 midfielder at year end.

Trade Swan to Watson....pick Swan back up after rd 9
