Is now the time to jump on? With a breakeven of around 59 and having shown good form in the last two weeks, most people are looking to either found a replacement for Lecca or looking for an upgrade target for Caddy, is buddy the man??

I am already leaning to the likes of parker/Zorko/danger but buddy could be a POD and plus getting him at a bargain price would be a bonus!

Current forward line: Martin, Roughy, Lecca, Pav, Caddy, Higgins (rohan and mccarthy)

Is there someone i'm missing?

You're thinking like me! I'm torn between Parker and Buddy, Parker seems the right choice but he's not going to kick 4 goals every week which is 36pts off his score at least...Buddy could be the go?

I'm getting Parker this week I think, almost 100% sold on him. I'm still not sure how Tippett coming into the team will affect Buddy, it will probably help him but you never know...

I could prob bring Buddy and Parker in this week for Lecras and Caddy...however I've gone with Parker and Fasolo for some fast cash generation, will also give me a chance to watch Buddy for another week.

I'll have problems if Scooter is dropped though...might have to do a LeCras to Fasolo and Scooter to Parker and move Parker into the forward line the following week.

Parker has hardly put a foot wrong this year, with a lowest score of only 79 which is nothing to be annoyed at. I can't see how tippett can affect buddy in a negative way, since buddy will be pushing up the ground and tippett staying close to home. We all know how good buddy was with roughy alongside him.

Thats what im also considering but i also wouldn't mind dropping caddy for fasolo just to make some quick cash just like you said

Pretty much the same reason why I'm not going Buddy this week.  I can trade LeCras to Parker and Scooter/Caddy to Fasolo this week, then next week (if all goes as planned) I should be able to bring in Buddy and a premo mid of my choice...long term it sound a lot better.

it is never a good time to pick up buddy. As long as he does his job thats all that matters for the Swans

Also note that Swans players aren't known for their consistent scoring week in week out and are the lowest averaging team in DT scoring. So if you choose a Swans player in your team and he doesn't perform one week and you whinge about it in a thread, don't expect any sympathy from myself or other Swans fans. We have carried the burden of selecting our favourite Swans players for years only to watch them kick our fantasy teams in the nuts.

Good point tabs, do you think that about Parker as well as Buddy?

I guess if his "poor" scores are around the 70 mark I would cop that for a fwd though
