Zorko or Chapman?

Can't decide on who to get. Leaning towards Zorko at the moment.

Toga

I personally probably wouldn't go either as I think they're a bit risky. It remains to be seen whether Zorko can keep up his form, and now that Rich is out he could get attention when he strolls in to the mids. Chapman is in doubt for this weekend and there's a chance he'll be rested periodically throughout the season so tread with caution! ;)

I can't see anyone else worth getting though. My fwd line Danger, Martin, Parker, Lecras, Caddy and Higgins. Trading out Lecras and Caddy, with Merrett coming in. Not many options.

+1
I think Chapman was a risk better taken at the beginning of the year, at 400k he was more worth the risk and could easily be sideway traded out, as well as fitting better in the budget. He now costs you 70k more, and he has already pumped out 3 big scores and you would think he would average only around 100 for the year, meaning sub 100 scores are to come. In saying this he could keep going at this rate and if he can stay on the park, he is worth the 470k, but you just have to be wary of him being rested. Coming from a Chapman owner from the beginning.

Zorko on the other hand I don't know much about, but looks like he is showing signs of a full return to his top 2012 form. Like Toga said he should be shown more attention now Rich is out.

Both risky, but both could give you high reward. Would I pay that much for either right now? No.

Is N.Riewoldt out of range?
and what about the likes of Dahlhaus, Wingard, Boomer, Titch, Darling, etc?
All have their perks and downfalls, but as do Zorko and Chappy.

Dahlhaus:
Playing a DT friendly role this year and is well suited to it. Had a good Round 1 and 2, with a 63 on the weekend but still averaging 87 which I can see being around 90-95 by seasons end.

Wingard:
Great dream teamer, gets possessions and kicks goals. Injury concern this week but is listed as a test.

Boomer:
In great form, playing as well as ever and has been very consistent over the first 3 rounds.

Titch:
Pre season favourite for many, and had a solid first 2 rounds before the weekends game. Did seem like something was wrong with him though, possible niggle or maybe sick? No idea.

Darling:
More midfield time and coming up the ground more, which is reflecting in his numbers. Still taking marks and kicking goals.

I think buddy has bottomed out and will return to form. He looked settled finally and will not go any lower than 400k ever again. Im getting on him

One thing to note is that Zorko's 1 big game came when there was a vacant spot in the mids, when Rocky was suspended. From what I saw on the weekend he was only sparingly used in the middle, being a forward flanker that pushed up. Now that there is a vacant midfield spot, he could be worth looking at. While it's true he may receive slightly more attention, he wont be the most impotant mid for the lions - rocky had 35 disposals at 74.3% effieciency, which isnt too bad. Zorko went at 56% effieciency in his big game, and 40% against the suns so if he keeps that up the opposition wont put too much time into him. Moloney also deserves attention before zorko i reckon

Jukes

Zorko, set and forget. Absolute bona fide superstar.

Chappy injury is of a concern, as is resting since we're doing so well. Considered Zachary Merrett as a cheaper alternative?

Already got him in for Caddy.

Toga

I thought it was Jackson Merrett that was all the rage at the moment? :P

Capper

Nothing wrong with Titch, just played a different role on the weekend.

Chappy could be out this week as well

Who?

Surely Zorko should be on all radars after Rich has been ruled out for the year?
