Round 3 Trades.

Really concerned with the rookies in the forwards. Want to get rid of them ASAP.

Thinking about moving Fyfe on to Kelly from GWS and then upgrading Rohan to Rioli.

Here is my current team (players to be traded out in this scenario in bold)


Def: Birchall, Simpson, Swallow, Johnson, Langdon, Laidler (Langford, Georgiou)
Mid: Ablett, Watson, Cotchin, Beams, Tyson, Polec, Dunstan, Ellis (Fyfe, Cunningham)
Ruck: Goldy, Sandi (A.Smith, M.King)
Fwd: Danger, Dusty, Wingard, Caddy, Higgins, Impey (Rohan, McCarthy)

If I make these trades my team will look like this

Def: Birchall, Simpson, Swallow, Johnson, Langdon, Laidler (Langford, Georgiou)
Mid: Ablett, Watson, Cotchin, Beams, Tyson, Polec, Dunstan, Ellis (Kelly, Cunningham)

The plan for next week in theory would then to trade the lowest performing mid-rookie to a cheap rookie on the bubble and then upgrade Caddy to a premo.

I see trading Fyfe to Kelly as my only option to get rid of Rohan for a decent forward. Otherwise I will not trade this week

Had Hurn and Michie to trade out last week for Swallow and Tyson so I had to keep Fyfe on the bench.

sorry but it is not a good idea at all to trade Fyfe to Kelly. You are basically trading a keeper for a non keeper. Waste of a trade.

You could consider trading one of the forward rookies to Fasolo, probably next week before his price goes up. Fasolo might not be a keeper either but will score better than the rookies will. And won't cost you much to get him in.

Undersatnd the dislike of Rohan- Im in the same boat. This is a terrible option though... you'd regret it for sure.

These two trades are structural changes. Fyfe/Rohan vs Rioli/Kelly and 2 trades burnt. Prob have to say hold for now mate and perhaps just try to get Fasolo or Taylor

My fwd line currently looks like this:
Parker, Roughy, Danger, Pav, Caddy, Impey, Rohan, JKH.

I'm in the same boat as you with three dodgy rookies in the fwd line and I have a bit of cash to trade out Caddy for a premo and then perhaps downgrade Rohan but I think I'm going to hold. I just can't shake this feeling that Caddy and Rohan will improve... they have to.

I would probably hold on Rohan for one more week Aaron to either see Fasolo on the bubble or Ambrose back into the Bombers side. There is also Bock coming back through the 2s atm.
