SO ah... When did AFL become a non contact sport? This is a joke... Mays one wow... One of the fairest hits ever. 105kg against 75kgs but is always gonna resulted in the midget flying.

Who ever is on the MRP or makes the rules regarding what falls under the suspension category needs to be axed. Some scrawny dudes with glasses that play squash i reckon. Ruining the game!

Head contact is fair enough suspensions.. But shoulder on shoulder hits.. REALLY?

I, and I think I speak for all of us, are very happy with this news.
I know it was in a different season, but Lindsay Thomas walked away from his accidental head clash with Ben Reid, but Fyfe gets weeks.
May's hit was awesome and more importantly fair.

I was at the game on Saturday, it looked alot like it was high. It was good that it was reviewed.

The rule was only implemented this season so that's why Lindsay didn't get weeks last season. If it had have happened this season I'm sure it would be a different scenario.

I couldn't see any high contact from the footage though, looked like it was a fair but solid bump so glad Maysie got off!
