MRP: D Merrett can accept 2 matches. 1 match for B Matera, S May, T Adams, L Shuey and Devon Smith. Reprimands for J Riewoldt and M Thomas.

As if Merrett only got 2 games! What a flowering joke!

Fyfe 2...Merrett 2 doesn't make sense

auscoyote

Fyfe shouldn't of got two, Hell he shouldn't of even got 1 >:(

Bring back the bump!

Happy the two Tiges got away with reprimands.  ;D

That Merrett one tho...

brandonw97

Fyfe got 1 game but was pushed to 2 because of a bad record

Toga

Merrett's got a bad record as well though..

brandonw97

MRP panel is a joke! Footy has gone soft, RIP to the bump, one of the greatest facets of the game.

me

the may suspension is an actual joke

i didn't mind the fyfe one too much, but this really is terrible

What the hell did Shuey do?!?

On the Fyfe scenario, he had to get done due to head contact regardless of whether he meant to do it.  Their Bobbleheads clashed and they didn't even challenge the suspension knowing what the law of the game said.  Yes he didn't deserve 2 weeks, yes his intention was not to cause harm, but its unfortunate his head smashed into his opposition.  They need neck training from Iron Mike Tyson...

Me too. I saw it when it happened and exclaimed, "Woh! Good hit!". The slow-mo replay didn't do it justice.

Adams got a week for pushing Jelwood over. Jelwood stayed down like Lionel Rose had hit him, yet got up, no bandage, played on. Should get 3,000 texts this week from players all stating that was weak.

Ricochet

Shuey and Adams have both accepted.
