What bullshower that Merrett got off with only two weeks.

Glad Matty Thomas didn't get done for his tough tackle on Griffen, thought it was very borderline.

Steven May, Gold Coast, has been charged with a level one engaging in rough conduct offence (125 demerit points, one-match sanction) for engaging in rough conduct against Dayne Zorko, Brisbane Lions, during the first quarter of the round three match between Gold Coast and the Brisbane Lions, at Metricon Stadium on Saturday April 5, 2014.

In summary, due to his previous poor record, his one-match sanction must remain at one-match, even with an early plea.

Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Brisbane Lions Football Club, the incident was assessed as negligent conduct (one point), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points).

lol. Negligent conduct for hitting a player who is disposing of the ball? Low impact on a crushing hit, and "high contact" for hitting a guy in the side/chest. MRP was really using the dartboard on this one.
