Mumford playing like a man possessed, and I love his tackling and pressure acts.

Nic Nat worries me, not just his scoring but the fact Eagles have 3 talls and it seems to be impacting him.

Thoughts?

Throw the rulebook out the window

Any trade to Mumford is good!

Good trade till he hurts himself. I always back him in then gets injured. Not this year though - took nicnat instead.

That trade is so tempting.......

But I think NicNat is going to be in the top 2 or 3 rucks at seasons end.

I dont know about overrated and sticking with him as i agree that nic nat will be top couple ruckman in the game
come end of season

So far Mumford has played....

Sydney against Pyke
St. Kilda against Hickey
Melbourne against Spencer

I'm not buying the hype and he isn't going to keep this form up forever. Trading him in now feels like chasing points that were already lost.

Could be Jacobs all over again, a lot of people were like 'don't worry he will come good', but he continued to spud it up all year.

Nic Nat is gone first thing Monday morning before he loses any more value ;-) Ok, maybe ill wait until teams are announced but he has had 3 ordinary scores, how he got 100 vs Melbourne is beyond me because he had poor stats.

+1
Stuck it out with Sauce last year until he was of no value had had no choice but to keep him, really don't want to go through that again

Generally the only thing the opposing ruckman will affect is his hitouts, which doesn't equate to a majority of where his tackling and pressure comes from

I brought him in this week for Ryder & boy was it the right move.
I sat back and watched the game closely, he dominated. He could have been rucking against anyone (barring Sandi) and done the same thing, he looks absolutely awesome, his fitness/physique, for him to go for 4 quarters in those conditions was outstanding.
How did Sydney let this guy go? I'm sure they could have offload another player to fit Buddy in.
For those that have R2 issues I would bring him in, but I wouldn't do Nic Nat > Mumford, yes you might lose points from the start of the season, but overall I think you wont lose to many points over the course of the season, Nic Nat will pump out some huge scores with match fitness.
But for those saying he hasn't rucked against anyone, he is in that good of form he will dominate any ruckman in a contest (barring sandi)

keep nic nat

Yessss. The only thing stopping me is Mummy burning me and getting injured again, like he has every other year..

No doubt he's started strongly but there comes a point when the big Mummy will slow down! And there comes a point when Nic Nat will gain full match fitness and start to dominate games again. He has proven he can score very well, much different to Jacobs!

Mummy rucks against Minson next week, I can garuntee he wont be scoring 150+ against him but if he tons up ill be convinced
