He is still young some players just take longer than others I'm lucky to have a choice between him and Higgins for the bench so will keep for the time being think he can still make some cash

Had he not been a number 7 pick in the draft I suspect he wouldn't be such a popular pick, Stephen Wells is the best recruiter in the business but he paid well over the odds for Caddy, inside mids with such limitations can be found in the second & third rounds. Parker was a third rounder for instance, similar types but Parker has improved year after year. Caddy is a plodder who has been flattered by his original draft position, the sooner he is out of my team the better.

awkward price unsure who we can possibly go to without a war chest of 150k ... i only have 50k ... plus 40k next week

Cloke - I just hope he doesn't pull out his annual 170 in the next few weeks. The Magpies draw opens up a bit too, could be a neat sideways trade if everything goes to plan.

Sounds like your not the only one getting rid of him , still think there is upside in him , time will tell 3 games is not much to judge anyone on so far this year

I'm not judging him on three games I'm judging him on 45 games, his highest score is 100, he simply isn't worthy of SC selection. I got sucked into the old 'more midfield time' argument but he's had plenty of stints in there playing for GC and even Geelong has trialled him at various stages. The bottom line is he's a very vanilla footballer with no outside game, supercoach poison as far as I'm concerned.

If you had such a low opinion of him to start with I'm suprised you picked him , he would not be alone in the football world to turn it around he is only 21 I think , anyway like I said time will tell and I might be going Bully was right or maybe I will be saying glad I kept him

To be honest I don't know why I picked him, along with Rohan I'm still beating myself up over such stupidity. I should have just picked up Parker when all my research was pointing in that direction.

Haha I have never been able to pick the winner of the Melbourne Cup in a field of 24 lets face it there is always going to be some players that stuff up your SC every week  ;)

Ricochet

Keep him, upgrade your on field rookies and then look to upgrade him. He will pull out a big score sometime soon and make some cash. There's absolutely no point in trading him now that you've started him

Yeah, it won't be for a couple of weeks. Next week is Michie to Buckley & Rohan to Fasolo.

I like those trades mate. Both are on my radar also.

Redbaron

Oh the joy of hindsight!  I bet every supercoacher has 1-2 players who were fringe selections and have been corrective traded out. If they were we are geniuses and if not then no point on moaning about high risk/reward selections that don't work. Trade them out and move on.

spuddy9595

Michie to Buckley? I was thinking Michie to Josh kelly...looks the goods from the two games I have seen him play.

NicNat -> Mummy & Michie -> Kelly (at this stage)

other option is to keep Nicnat and bring in Swallow intead

Holz

#41
burning through my trades now, just rage traded daisy to a rookie so I could go caddy the spud the chappy the gun.

not sure I will  hit the reverse button, as looks like i turned 2 midpricers in a keeper and good rookie.

Jackross10

I am giving him the flick but not sure who I will get in. Depends who I trade swan to and what I can then afford

Vinny

I am holding onto Caddy. He will make cash eventually.

I went McDonough to Fasolo who I can now field at F6 over Rohan.

I've got a 116k in the bank if he can manage to get to 400k in the next week or two, I can get any premium forward.

Holz, Chappy has pretty much declared he will play 16 games and be rested. Despite killing it last night, he didn't look fully fit.

Daisy also managed 82 whilst we got raped by 81 points. I'll take it. In hindsight, wish I took Macrae but oh well.

TheMoops

If you could go Caddy to Parker in one trade (used 2 already last week), would ya?
