And it worth the salary to say that.  Fair enough some ground memberships are no shows but still did not get to the root of the problem it is expensive to take a family to the footy with the price of food inside the grounds.

The food is expensive as, why when I go with friends/family I tend to bring food from home. Gonna save ourselves another $50 or so on food, or we just buy some fast food before/after the match elsewhere. Food prices are insane in there.

And I swear the ticket prices have gone up further. Not sure if the prices were just different tonight since Hawks Vs Freo, but concessions have gone up from $13.50 to $17 in a year and Adults were up to $25 (MCG tonight). That's a big jump inbetween years if that's everywhere...

I can not comment on game day prices (Will find out when i go to Melbourne in May) due to being a club member. membership prices have increased mimimally this year for me. Unfortunately at the Gabba if you grab fast food on the way you can not take it into the grounds you have to eat it before you enter.

I just usually take water and some muesli Bars and Fruit in with me though.

If you have a bag or jacket you can sneak it in. I know they check your bags but hey.

When I go to Eithad I usually go to the Subway and Nandos around the corner and just put it in my jacket. Same for the Nandos Van at the G, although the prices are relatively the same.

Yeah, the smart way to do things Ringo! We usually also take sandwiches so something a bit more filling if needed! As Q said, can easily sneak them in if bag checkers are slack, or stuff at bottom of your bag in like a plastic bag. They don't sift through the bags thoroughly, just a quick peak and then pass you through.

Never tried the jacket though, how do you manage that Q? :o. Must be a big jacket or something to carry food in there haha.

Master Q

Just put my hand in my jacket haha. Most of the guys at the scanners don't care.

Can always hold it behind your legs when they're not looking as well :P

Tactics HP, tactics.

That'd look suss as though, with your arm in your jacket :P. Think walking with food between your legs would look so awkward, would love to see somebody try that one hahahaha.

Guess you are skilled the in the art of sneaking food in, I shall learn from you Master Q ;).
