Annnnd wish I had got rid of the muppet.

A real muppett comment there calling a player a muppett when he played on with an injury
Do you realise he rolled his ankle during the game?
He did extremely well to even get back onto the field and play the game out

The Eagles suffered further injury troubles throughout the night. Chris Masten suffered a nasty cork that diminished his running capacity. Scott Selwood also rolled his ankle.

He couldn't feel his right foot after halftime, Simpson said.

You probably noticed he kicked one out on the full and pulled a few kicks on his left as well so we thought it was a really brave effort from Scooter.

Toga

Yeah I agree luv it could have been much worse. I will cop a 97 from him this week, very brave effort playing on with a nasty ankle roll. We can probably thank LeCras being subbed early or otherwise we might've been very disappointed if Scoots was subbed out of the game.

Yep 97 is quite fine
He was visibly limping off when going to the bench for the rest of the game and was pulling up sometimes as well
Great effort imo

pommyadam

97 is a pretty good effort considering

and if I'd have traded him, it probably would've been to Pendles/SJ, so I've actually done myself a favour

me

yeah def take 97 from scoot, pity i had lecras 2 though

don't think i've ever dodged a dt injury bullet ... ever

RookieDTer

48, then 97, then might miss next week.

Definitely wish I had his brother instead.

:-\ Will Masten get up for this week?

LF

Masten got a corkie so I guess they'll do everything possible to get him up for this week since we play the Cats and it will be a tough game down at Simmonds.

Thanks Luv.
Disappointing as he has been, I still think he could be in for a big year, will hold strong

Toga

Read somewhere that Scoots might be touch and go for this week, can anyone confirm? Not sure what I'd do if he is going to be out.

Surely he will want to get up to smash his bro!

Nothing on Eagles website yet and haven`t heard anything on the radio yet.
Both coaches on 6pr tonight and I guess one of the questions they`ll be asked is how are Scooter and Masto

Toga

Wicked thanks for the update LF, let us know if you hear any more! ;)
