Score of 2205 hurt :(

at least next week will be one of the easiest trading decisions of my life...

Taylor > OBrien, Georgiou > Jaensch

Should be able to do this with about $10,000 to spare, judging by Fan Footy..

Would leave me with this...

B: Swallow, Simpson, McVeigh, Hodge, Enright, Jaensch (Langford, Bews)
M: Ablett, Pendlebury, Beams, JPK, Selwood, Stevie J, Watson, Goddard (O'Brien, Shenton)
R: Jacobs, Sandilands (Derickx, Currie)
F: Roughead, Dangerfield, Martin, Dahlhaus, Parker, Impey (Ambrose, Cameron)

only real issues are playing a rookie F6 and perhaps Hodge and Enright in the backline. Once Lake comes back should see Hodge return to the middle though

Plenty of cash generation to come with the likes of Langford, Shenton, Ambrose, Derickx providing solid $$$

Will look to get in a fwd once Derickx and Ambrose have peaked

Will also look to get Wingard and S.Mitchell in to switch around across my bench hopefully.

After doing that my team will look like this..

B: Swallow, Simpson, Mitchell, Hodge, McVeigh, Jaensch (Enright, Bews)
M: Ablett, Pendles, Beams, JPK, Selwood, Stevie J, Goddard, Watson (Hunt, Honeychurch or whoever can swing)
R: Sandilands, Jacobs (Smith, Currie)
F: Dangerfield, Wingard, Parker, Martin, Dahlhaus, Harvey? (Roughead, Cameron)

with 2 trades left..

thats rough. hmmm whats your plan now??

check out my Team

Ringo

Is it wortrh cutting losses on Roughead now and go Roughead to Lecras or other prem on the Bubble,

felsty

Will keep the rough

Derickx > Smith, Georgiou > Jaensch

Will give me Taylor > OBrien and Langford > ? As downgrades

Then Impey > Wingard, Ambrose > ? As upgrades

Leaves me with

D: Swallow, Simpson, McVeigh, Jaensch, Hodge, Enright (Bews, ?)
M: Ablett, Pendlebury, Beams, Goddard, Watson, JPK, Selwood, Stevie J (Shenton, OBrien)
R: Sandilands, Jacobs (Currie, Smith)
F: Dangerfield, Martin, Wingard, Parker, Dahlhaus, ? (Roughead, Cameron)

Will then look to downgrade OBrien > Hunt? M/D swing and bring Mitchell in for Bews when he is dirt cheap

Rings what are the chances of Archie Smith getting games now that West has gone down?

Ringo

Wait for Lions to name team as it will be either Martin, Smith or Michael that will get the nod. Smith is only in his second year of playing AFL and is very raw and still learning the game so he may not be thrust in against Minson.

felsty

regardless i may just downgrade him to King

felsty

Definitely going the Derickx > Smith, Georgiou > Jaensch route

should be good!

any comments?

Still happy with Smith as not named?
Would you consider Lobb now? or still like Smith in the longer run?

felsty

With Langford out I'm actually thinking of just upgrading him now and downgrading Taylor > OBrien. Will prob downgrade Derickx > Lobb the week after.

Just second guessing my trades now as I think Pyke coming in might see Derickx score poorly and be subbed out while Taylor v the dogs could not only pass his BE but score an 80 and get a bit more juicier.

It's an important choice to make as it should give me a chance to just get Robbie Gray in my fwd line the week after that all going to plan. But it will be tight!

Well was pleased with the score of 2372 this week putting me back in the top 2,000!

With Watson going down it gives me somewhat of a great opportunity to finish my team and find a POD to replace him with

Current Team

B: Swallow, Simpson, McVeigh, Hodge, Enright, Jaensch (Bews, Georgiou)
M: Ablett, Pendebury, Selwood, Goddard, StevieJ, JPK, Beams, WATSON (Shenton, O'Brien)
R: Sandilands, Jacobs (Derickx, Currie)
F: Dangerfield, Roughead, Martin, Dahlhaus, Parker, Impey (Ambrose, Cameron)

$138k in the kitty

Now with all the talk about the midfielders we can get in for Jobe, im liking the look of a few cheap PODs instead

With the cash  I make from that I can also bring in Zorko for Ambrose.

Now I know Ambrose still has $$ to make with a -5 breakeven but I don't think you have too many opportunities to jump on a bloke like Zorko who is averaging over 100 taking away his sick game where he scored 12 for a tad over $400k

That will give me a team that looks like this:

B: Swallow, Simpson, McVeigh, Hodge, Enright, Jaensch (Bews, Georgiou)
M: Ablett, Pendlebury, Selwood, Goddard, StevieJ, JPK, Beams, ???? (Shenton, O'Brien)
R: Sandilands, Jacobs (Derickx, Currie)
F: Dangerfield, Roughead, Martin, Dahlhaus, Parker, Zorko (Impey, Cameron)

$10k in the kitty and would leave 6 trades left

My theory is that Harvey and Gray are the two standout forwards to have in your side and would rather wait for them to come down before getting them again, but the opportunity to complete my team in two trades this week really speaks to me and think I have to move now while im in the top 2k.

I would be hoping to get Harvey or Gray when they drop down closer to $500k and am also looking at getting in Mitchell when he bottoms out for Shenton, hopefully those two will only take 4 trades to do

Impey, Derickx, Shenton, Cameron and O'Brien are still there making me money so I'm pretty happy with where I am at atm

Does my plan sound good?
