I'm pretty sure they will only add positions, not take them away. So like you said (not confident on it happening though :P) Goddard is currently a pure mid, he can gain fwd status as well and become a m/f halfway through the year.

Not 100% sure on this so don't hold me to it but I'm pretty sure i read that somewhere.
